I bought these with the hopes of getting a variety, but got about 5-6 of many characters. Also no holos or rares. Not bad for maybe a kid who is starting to collect, but not great for collectors.

We bought a bunch of these packs for our 6 year old who has taken a strong interest in pokemon. He loves looking at them in his pokemon card binder. He has his favorites double sleeved.

I received 38 basics. Out of those 38 basics, 2 of them evolved to stage 1. They were both the same Pokemon. It did come with a special card (basic). Nine cards were stage 1, which 2 were the same that evolved the Exeggcute. There were four stage 2 cards that did not evolve any of the other cards. There were 16 trainer cards. Of those, there was 3 Marnies’ Pride and 2 Thorton’s. There were about 2 of the older deck cards. There was only 1 energy card and one supporter card. These are definitely not a battle deck, but can complement any other cards you may already have.

The kids loved them and they were authentic!!

5 rare (single star) + 1 holo rare (single star)The rest were common or uncommon. Disappointed that the promised ultra rare (not even double rare) was not included. Kid still likes it but won’t buy again.
