I'm still not sure!
I bought this to line a ceramic pot so I could burn charcoal and incense.. I couldn't be bothered to walk to the beach !! its very fine and powdery and an odd peachy colour. I knew it was for modelling etc... but wanted to try it anyway. So far it has been fine other than the it forms with the charcoal and incense in melted lumps, so not really appropriate for this use.. I'll get some earth in there instead and use this for something else...

Great Sand
I actually bought this sand to epoxy-glue to a grinding stone drill bit for detail sanding concave crevices. For my purposes it was rubbish and didn't do the job - it's too fine......Oh, but for kids to play with? Or model building? Heck yeah! This stuff is fantastic.
