Nice warm light
Needed a replacement build for our Grand Father Clock. Didn't want a bright bulb. This one was perfect. Nice warm yellowish glow.

Prefect in my Grandfather Clock
This 25W-equivalent bulb is an exact replacement for the 25W incandescent lamp that came in my Howard Miller "Ramsey" floor clock. The original incandescent lamp generates heat and consequently, tends to dry out the wood and the clock movement's bearing lubrication much faster than a non-illuminated clock. That, and the fact that it is actually a 2W LED bulb, no heat is generated and it is so energy efficient that it could be left on 24 hours to showcase the clock, but I placed mine on a timer that turns it on at dusk and off at dawn. The lamp's color is perfect against the Tuscan Cherry cabinet and gives it a soft antique look. I would recommend this lamp for lit Clocks and Curio Cabinets...

Slow Boat from China
This worked perfectly for my olde fashioned display case. But it came from China on LITERALLY a slow boat. So, if you need it in a hurry, don't bother.

Very nice energy efficient bulb. Warm light with an antique look.
I have a soft night lamp that I use to sleep by with a tall cover. The bulb I had in there cast a nice pleasant warm light, but it didn't light up the whole lamp. This bulb is tall enough to light the whole lamp and is also warm. 2700K is probably accurate, it's warmer than my 3000K LED it replaced. Being LED, it's also energy efficient. This is a stylized light, and would look good exposed, which is why it has the long soft filament look. It's probably overkill for my simple little lamp, but I love it.The circuit board (power supply/driver) is hidden in the base and you wouldn't even know it was there if you didn't specifically look for it. They've really come a long way with these.

This is a great lightbulb.
If you need or like to leave a light bulb on all the time this is a great bulb. I have an antique lithophane and this bulb is perfect for it. Such a nice, warm glow.

Great ambiance for bankers lamp or other lower lit lamps
Wonderful in antique bankers lamp. Produces a yellow, soft glow. A little pricier but worth it, sjnce they are suppose to last along time. Also cool to the touch.
