The mount is metal and I am confident it will hold my xbox. Plastic not so much. I drilled holes in the bottom like someone else recommended. Extra air for the xbox never hurts. Also drilled new mounting holes to connect the mount to my tv mount for a metal to metal connection. I wouldn't be as confident drilling new holes in a plastic mount.

This is a great brand, I’ve gotten wall mounts for different consoles from them and they were engineered around the console’s temperature cooling system (PlayStation 4/PlayStation5/Xbox one/Xbox one X/S including the Xbox series S)…HOWEVER as far as the Xbox series X goes a lot of people think this console’s cooling system only sucks fresh cool air from the back two vents and then blows out hot air from the top. Unfortunately this isn’t true. It also extracts cool air from the bottom of the console, now this wall mount does let the xbox series x correctly stand up in the wall mount however it does give the Xbox’s bottom vents complete air flow.That being said alot of us don’t realize that because this console literally stays warm and never gets hot ( Atleast that’s my case) it stays 12 Degrees cooler then the previous Xbox one X which also has three vents(but that wall mount for the one X is open for all three vents, and yes I’ve professionally tested the temperatures. So that being said we’re all used to our consoles getting a little hot it’s normal but not the next gen xbox series x, it literally was built inside out specifically for cooling and air flow. Because of power this console is, 12 teraflops, 16GB RAM, VRR, Ray Tracing, 8K, 120 FPS and so on lol. (And yes I had games and apps running before and after putting my series x into wall mount, it got 9 degrees warmer after mounted! So using this wall mount increases internal heat but not severely! Only because it doesn’t get our series x to over heat because it has a serious vapor chamber/fan and split motherboard separating the CPU from the GPU with an aluminum chassis in between them, it’s insane how they perfectly designed the series X! (aluminum stays cooler then most metals) the fan works harder with this wall mount!!!! You just don’t notice/used to a console that literally is the first in this next gen where cooling and airflow aren’t a design problem anymore. Microsoft’s engineers really got it right this time.Now all that being said, I’m not saying this wall mount is overheating your series X, but it is restricting a portion of airflow from the bottom vents and your fan is working harder (higher RPM’s).However I made a solution for this wall mount. I drilled 4 holes through the mount where the series x stands on, now completing the correct design wall mount for the series x!Again I’m not saying don’t buy this wall mount because this company makes quality metal wall mounts, but they didn’t complete the bottom air flow of the series x, it still sucks air through but not completely all around!My series x literally purrs like a kitten, never gets hot!!!! Only warm, until I installed the wall mount I noticed a difference of the heat and fans RPM raising. So I drilled 4 open holes on the bottom and now it’s working properly as if the series x was just standing up on your shelve or tv desk.Now just keep in mind that if you purchase this wall mount and don’t open up the bottom and drill 4 holes for the bottom vents then your series x WILL work harder to keep it cool and decrease it’s lifespan!Please check out my pictures and you’ll also notice other wall mount brands for the series x have correctly designed their wall mounts correctly for all the series x VENTS!

The x box wall mount was easy to install and looks great. So much better than sitting on the shelf.

All the materials are metal.It's sturdy mounted to my wall.I cannot think of one single issue with this wall mount at all.

Es muy sencillo y no le quita belleza a la consola a la hora de instalarse. Lo que no me gustó es que tiene algunos detalles de fierros pequeños que sobresalen de la estructura.

Los metales están muy justos y rayan la consola cuando se coloca en el soporte

Je cherchais un support mural solide pour pouvoir monter la Xbox Séries X à côté de la TV dans la salle de jeu et cela fait très bien le job !Facile à installer sur une cloison placo (merci les cheville Molly)Bref ça fait très bien le job !
