My old timer finally bit the dust and I had to find a replacement. This one is easy to use and the volume of the ring is perfect. It's easier to read than my old one and the performance and quality are much higher, too.

The timer is a replacement for a much older magnet timer I'd had on my stove for many years. It's simple and the alarm is loud enough for me to hear at a distance. I keep it attached to my stove because it's a lot easier to set than my stove and I can take it with me if I leave the kitchen. I wanted something uncomplicated and this works just fine.

I have become a bit hard of hearing in my old age, such that I can no longer hear the timer on the oven (unless I'm in the kitchen). I ordered a separate timer, but it didn't work well, so I returned it, and ordered a second one (different brand). Although it worked, I couldn't hear it. This was my third attempt, and I was very pleased with it initially because it worked. I've had it now for about 3 months, and I'm sorry to say it stopped working. Oh, I can still set it, and it appears to be "ticking down", but then it stops before the time is up (without me knowing it), and lo and behold my dinner burns. Burnt chicken isn't all that great! And don't get me started on burnt rice. I'm back to looking for a fourth timer, but I don't have much hope of finding one that will actually do the job.

Love this simple timer. Easy to set and see. Way better than using the alarm on my cell phone which goes dark quickly to conserve battery. This timer's magnet holds well to the stove and the grill. When I'm baking something for a longer time (pie, cake or casserole) I carry the timer with me - even outside - so I can quickly see how much time is left. "30 minutes to go; I can weed the garden till then."

These are very easy to use and great for a classroom. I likes to use them for independent student breaks or group work. The alarm is a good volume and not scary.

I bought these for my students (6-7 year olds) to use in the classroom for a variety of reasons. They are fantastic. I LOVE the magnets on the back! We don't lose them that way. The kids always know where to put them. They are easy to use for everyone. I plan to buy another set this year.

The timers work great. The only complaint is that when you press any of the buttons to set or stop timers, the magnets are not placed on the back of timer in order to hold the timer in place so I had to add a spacer behind each timer in order to keep it from falling off the fridge/stove.

We use these in a medical clinic so we can do bathroom checks (for safety purposes). Love that they have a stand on them AND a magnet on the back - you can stick it to the door frame (metal) or prop it on a desk or table, plus it's small enough to carry around. Easy to set and adjust timer. The alarm is loud enough to be annoying (which is the goal here). They don't survive being dropped very well, but that's the only reason we've needed to buy more over the years.

Mediocre at best. Flimsy. Two of the magnets fell off on fist attempt to use. Magnets are pretty weak. Would not buy again.
