UPDATE - 3 months later. The lighter colours (i got lilac) get absolutely filthy. I would recommend only buying the black one if this will bother you.______________________________________________________________________________________________I tried a couple of other style (sticky) ring holders before finding this magnetic one. The sticky ones were not great and obviously prevented use of the Magsafe charger, so not ideal. Very pleased to find this Anker ring. Strong, firm grip to the magnetic ring on the back of the phone and also through a magnetic case (I use an Apple case but it also worked with a non-Apple magnet case). You can alter the position to suit a comfortable hold. It works for me and, so far, is perfect.I also wanted to address the comments about the ring being hard to open when it is flush to the phone. Initially, it was difficult as the ring movement is very firm. I have been using it for a week and it has become more pliable - enough to make it easier to pull out but not enough to make it loose. I am hoping it does not get looser but I will update this review if necessary further down the line. It is definitely more difficult with short nails (which I have) but you can push your finger under and open it up without pulling the whole thing off. Give it a few days use and it will be fine. 100% recommended product.

I originally thought this product was only worth a 3 star review, however after swapping out my phone case, this product is amazing and works really well, the MagSafe properties of my old phone case must have been faulty or just bad design and this product didn’t work with it, however since swapping the case it works great and feels really comfy to hold my phone now! I was using pop sockets for ages and have swapped to this product now instead as it is just better looking in my opinion and feels nicer and is more versatile! Can be used to hold your phone with your fingers through the ring or can be used to prop your phone up on the table to watch something hands free! Honestly excellent purchase well worth the price!

Adds a sense of security whilst using your iphone without a case and double as a desk stand for media consumption or video calling. Holds securely to and magsafe enabled iphone or magsafe case, yet is easy to remove to add or remove a case. I never hve concerns that the grip will detatch from the phone in use. The metal ring gives infinate adjustability and stiff enough to hold the position you move it to and to hold the phone on a desk. The grip can also be rotated when attached to your phone to adjust your grip, as necessary, which is useful.The grip comes in four or more colours and I would recommend any other colour than the white I chose as it picks up the colour of the trouser pocker that you keep your phone in an looks a little grubby after a few months of use. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I hadn’t too much concern about quality given it’s an Anker product and they definitely delivered here. The MagSafe ring is really well made, feels really sturdy and attaches to the phone with a good amount of force so there’s no concerns of it coming off unexpectedly.I didn’t realise but once attached it allows easy rotation 360° (The actual magnetic base remaining in place) which makes it easy to adjust without concerns of scratching the back.I was finding the iPhone 13 Pro Max a bit heavy and unwieldy but this is a complete game changer for me - I’ve tried a few different ring positions and it’s easy to find one that lets you hold the phone in a more comfortable position that spreads the weight better across your hand and provides a more secure grip.To me this is an absolute must for the iPhone 13 models, as they are pretty chunky and heavy. I love the fact it acts like a pop socket as well as a stand for watching movies, and it can be removed easily if needed.As some other reviewers mentioned getting the ring out once flush is a little fiddly, a small tab on the inside of the ring would solve that but I haven’t found it to be too big a deal but definitely an improvement for a future revision but I’m glad it folds down flat without anything sticking up as I use it in a sleeve case.Well done Anker, finally a useful accessory for me for the MagSafe feature!

I opened this earlier today, excited to put it on my new MagSafe case. The magnet locks down well (I assume this is because the back of the case is thinner than some of the reviewers' on here?) and it holds the phone (iPhone 13 Pro) perfectly. It feels very well built and the ring mechanism is firm, not floppy like some ring cases.The negatives are that it needs to be pulled off each time you want to wirelessly charge (as expected before I bought it) and it adds an amount of heft to the phone. When mounted, it's dead-centre so I get to choose between putting my index finger through, and not being able to reach the top of the screen, or putting my middle finger through and not being able to reach the bottom of the screen. That could also just be that I have Hobbit hands, though. When mounted and when the ring is flat it's difficult to pry back up, so I'd love a v2 of this to include a little notch on the inside of the ring to grip with a fingernail to lift it.Overall it gives more security than not having it, and I can put up with the negatives as the positives outweigh them so far.

Don’t bother with this. Magnet not strong at all. Phone fell off after few seconds. It’s moved when you holding it. Not secure at all. Very disappointed

Excellent magnetic strength. I was worried that it would come off all the time, but it feels very secure. I prefer this to a phone case with a grip, because this way I can easily take the phone grip off when I want to charge the phone on a mag charger - I don't have to always peel the phone out of its case. And I am also still able to use a magnetic phone holder in the car. Would buy again.

I already have a light blue and this is a second one (grey) for my wife. Excellent magnet, very solid and sturdy ring holder. Very useful and can be removed easily while charging or placing in the car's magnetic holder. Great quality but only down side is the weight of the solid metal ring.

As usual, Anker does not dissapoint in the electronic accessories department. I was looking for a ring grip that had checked all of the following boxes:-Easily removable (so that I can use wireless charging when needed)-Sturdy enough to support the phone in my hand-Flexible in it's rotation-Doubles as a stand-Bonus points for looking aesthically pleasingThis device meets all the above criteria in spades. The magnet has the PERFECT amount of adhesion when paired with my magsafe wireless compatible charging case. It has also a pleasing matte grey finish on the outer ring and a gunmetal finish on the clamp and inner ring.Other reviewers have noted that the ring tends to loosen over time. I am hoping that I don't experience that but will update my review if I happen to experience that as well. In the mean time, this is another knockout from Anker.

When I got my iPhone 14, I loved the bigger screen but noticed the size was now a bit 'fumbly' for me. I didn't want a thicker pop-socket style grip to fill my pocket, so I tried this ring style. Fairly thin and not heavy, fits in my pocket well.I purchased the white grip. The color is slightly brighter white than my iPhone 14, but matches well enough. Magnet retention is very good. The ring is very smooth and feels good to grip. The ring can be used as a kickstand very easily in the landscape orientation. Trying to use it as a kickstand in the portrait orientation doesn't really work. If you need it as a portrait kicksatand, choose something else.The ring is substantial and fixed to the grip (i.e., doesn't rotate). If you want to move the hinge from the left or right side, you basically remove and re-attach it, or drag the entire ring around on the back of your phone. You must remove the grip to surface-charge your phone (cable charging is unaffected).The magnetic grip only goes on one way (heads yes / tails no), but the part that holds the inner ring can be felt on the non-attach side, whereas the attached side is completely smooth. I get up before my spouse and I've now gotten good at putting it on in the dark.We buy Anker products often as they are high-quality and properly priced. I am happy with my purchase.

I like the sky blue color. Picture made it darker but reality it is light sky blue. Very good quality packing. Stainless steel ring is also high quality and stays in place so you can use it as a phone stand, it is also easy to get scratches on the stainless steel.MagSafe magnet is strong when not using a phone case. But magnet can get reduced significantly if you are using even the thinnest case, it will fall off very easily. You need either not use a case or use a high end case with magnet inside for this to work properly.

***Updated: December 3, 2023Product only lasted one year. The ring no longer held its weight. Kept caving in. Anker honored their warranty and sent another but in a different color. Took 10 days from the time I submitted the claim to receiving the warranty replacement. 4 out of those 10 days was just back and forth e-mails between me and Anker. I still give them the 5 stars because they honored their warranty.***The product does the job as intended. Easy on and off. Holds strong. 360 degree rotation that doesn’t get in the way. The Misty Blue color is aesthetically pleasing as well.
