WeraSeries 7400 Kraftform adjustable torque screwdrivers (0.1-3.0 Nm) with Rapidaptor quick-release chuck, art. no. 7441 x 1/4" x 1.2-3.0 N m

Really disappointing, and terribly misleading description. The product is rated as adjustable, which technically is true. However what the description doesn’t tell you is that in order to adjust it you have to pry off a super stiff cap (it gets mangled in the process), and then use a nut spinner (???) to adjust the screw under the cap.Even if you have a nut spinner (which I don’t) there are no calibration markings so you would have to rely on the poor documentation telling you to adjust in 180 degree increments (but not which direction).Overall a complete waste of money, and I feel mislead into buying something which is not really capable of what it advertises.

Habe mir diesen Drehmomentschraubendreher zugelegt um unterschiedliche Schrauben am Motorrad nach Herstellervorgaben fest zu schrauben. In der Artikelbeschreibung dieses Schraubendrehers wird beworben, dass dieser einstellbar sei zwischen 1,2 und 3Nm.Dies ist irreführend!Der Schraubendreher hat im Auslieferungszustand ein fest eingestelltes Drehmoment von 1,2Nm.Um tatsächlich das Drehmoment auf eigene Bedürfnisse anzupassen, muss mit einem scharfen Gegenstand (Messer o.Ä) die Plastikkappe oben aufgehebelt werden, damit man eine Mutter innenliegend und ohne jegliche Kennzeichnung bewegen muss. Nicht nur, dass hierbei gleich der Schraubendreher verkratzt wird, nein man hat nur einen ungefähren Anhalt der Nm Einstellung wenn man kein externes Drehmomentprüfgerät hat!!Das wollte ich ja eben genau mit diesem Schraubendreher!!Mag sein, dass für eine Serienverwendung bei immer gleichbleibendem Drehmoment dieser Schraubendreher Verwendung findet, aber im Privatgebrauch ist dieser Schraubendreher überhaupt nicht verwendbar.Leider kann ich diesen jetzt auch nicht mehr zurückschicken, da ich ja die Kappe bereits verkratzt habe.Liebes Amazon-Team, passt doch bitte die Artikelbeschreibung entsprechend an, damit nicht noch mehr Leute einen Fehl- und somit Frustkauf erleben!

This is not as advertised. This is advertised as 1.2 -3.0Nm . The screwdriver is set at 1.2Nm and only adjustable by removing the end cap ( which is extremely difficult) on the screwdriver then using a nut spinner to adjust. However no markings are available to determine setting.

theres a reason that as an engineer, i go back time after time to wera when i need tools. great price and they just work, and work well.you don't have to worry about them failing, or something not working as it should, they just work well.the only thing id like to be better from wera torque drivers is the +/- 6% on the torque tolerances, a but tighter would be better, but then again, they'd be a lot more expensive!

I have a number of these drivers. Buyers should be aware that the images Wera provides of the tool are doctored - the calibration scale runs as expected from lowest torque when fully screwed in to highest when the collar is turned fully out. The values are given on the shank to 2 decimal places, and the text of the engraving is far smaller than their other torque adjustable drivers. I need a magnifying glass to set the tool. The signature of the operator on the calibration certificate is also tiny.Having said that, it is by far the best torque adjustable driver I have purchased.
