LEGOMonkie Kid Spider Queen’s Arachnoid Base 80022 Building Kit (1,170 Pieces)

This was a birthday gift for my 8-year-old. He spent lots of time reviewing his options and eventually chose this set. He talked about it a lot ahead of time, and I was a little concerned that he'd lose interested before he finally got around to receiving and building it. I didn't need to worry, though. When the big day arrived, he got right down to business and spent all of his breaks during the school day building it (he's in cyber school). Once it was built, he played with it virtually nonstop for a week or two.I have to say, it's a very nice set. The spider queen's size is impressive, and there are lots of hidden hinges, compartments, and features. The color scheme is great, too.Overall, if you don't mind buying a bigger/pricier set, this is a good buy, especially if your kids like Monkie Kid.

I absolutely love the Monkie Kid theme and love this set. Bought it on Prime Day and am very happy with my purchase. I would continually get Monkie Kid sets to add to my Lego portfolio!

I gotta say this set is very impressive. It is quite the Lego base set to build from the Lego Monkie Kid set, and sure was fun to build indeed. The figures are good, the set is neat, and everything was just spot on fun. So this was worth it to buy and to build all together ^^
