Got this as a birthday present! I'm in love!Got this as a birthday present about a week ago. It's been on my wishlist for quite a while! This is my first ukulele, and I am in love.This set does come with everything pictured. The soft case is nice, with little pockets to hold extra picks. (I also received the soft ukulele picks, which I highly recommend!) The tuner works very well, and if you play guitar, has settings for that, as well! The soft cloth is nice for wiping down the instrument. Haven't messed with the CD, so no input there.On to the instrument itself! It really is a gorgeous color, and has a good sound to it. I had concerns at first about the strings/pegs, because I was constantly having to re-tune. Looked it up and that is normal for new strings on a ukulele. It's been about a week now and they keep their tune very well. Just keep that tuner clipped on for the first week or so and make sure to constantly tuning, especially if things start to sound a little wonky to you.Love this so much, I'll be purchasing this for my best friend's birthday!

I have been playing my Kala ukulele for my grandson since he was a year old. Recently, I showed him photos of this shark ukulele and an all wood one by Kala. Of course, his eyes lit up at the photo of the surf green shark ukulele and said he like that one. His birthday is in June, but I ordered the shark early so I can get it well tuned by then. I have had it 3 days, and the tune is becoming more stable. It has a very nice sound. I vividly remember getting a toy (which this is not) uke when I was about 3. I so wanted to play it, but was completely discouraged by the awful sound it made. I was turned off ukuleles until I was 70 years old. I do NOT want that to happen to my grandson. If the uke doesn’t stick with him, it will NOT be due to the quality of this one’s sound! This is an excellent ukulele, especially for the money.

What a wonderful little instrument! I wasn't sure what to expect, given the low price, but I knew of Kala's reputation. Why not give it a shot?The finish is quite nice. The paint is smooth and even, the neck is straight, no sharp corners on the ends of the frets, and it came strung with Aquila strings. I was pleased to see it come with both an inner dust bag, as well as a padded gig bag. The clamp-on digital tuner, microfiber cloth and instructional DVD are nice additions.I checked the string height and quickly lowered the action to where I like it. After tightening and stretching the strings a bit, I tuned it up and started strumming. What a gorgeous sound! Much better than I expected, especially given the price. Very full, well-rounded tone with decent volume. Louder than I expected, to be honest. Keep in mind that this is a sub $50 instrument if you remove all the extras.With a little minor set-up, this is a no-brainer that I can highly recommend.

I'm so in love with this, I think the color is just like the photo and the strings are the good quality ones! It's really adorable, sounds great. I'm not sure what the 2nd bag is for, dust cover? I tossed it. The gig bag is good to carry around but it would not protect from much except maybe scratches. As for those complaining about timing, it takes a couple of weeks for ANY ukulele to keep in tune. I tune it after every 10 min or so, mostly just the G. You'll want to wiggle and pinch the strings for a few minutes before your first tune. I'm surprised how great this deal is and as soon as I get paid I'm buying another for my boyfriend because I'm not sharing!

This ukulele is so cute and the digital tuner is awesome! It doesn't tell you what to tune it to, but we looked it up on the internet and it worked so well! The only thing is that it doesn't hold the tuning very long, but maybe with time it will hold it better.

A fellow ukulele player and member of the band we play in, purchased one of the Makala Shark Bridge Soprano Ukuleles for Christmas. I had the opportunity to play it and found it to be a wonderful instrument. I did change out the strings and replaced them with new Aquila strings and it sounds wonderful. Plays well and I did not HAVE a regular soprano ukulele. And with the case, this will be the perfect instrument for me to take on vacations as it takes up hardly any space when traveling. A great instrument. It was shipped with tracking information and arrived exactly when I expected it. Thank you.

The boxing was very professional and had cute decorations. The tuner was nice and the ukulele sounds amazing. This is by far the best ukulele I have bought.

I bought this uke for my grandson, whose adult sized guitar was way too big for his small six-year-old body. He and I both were delighted with its appearance-- attractive blue with a little wooden shark and good sound quality. The strings stay relatively well-tuned and the little tuner is a gem. In fact, I can't think of anything negative to say about this instrument and its accessories. Thank you, manufacturers, for a job well done!
