My cat loves the taste and texture .
Having health issues which affect his low weight, it's important that he eats regularly. Eating dry food causes vomiting, but eating sensitive stomach pate, supplemented with this product ( which he loves), solves the problem.

My cats seem to like fish and chicken flavors best. This particular food has lots of nice flavorful juice I add to one cat's kidney diet food. I think this makes her more apt to eat her kidney food.

Fancy Feast Medley's, Salmon Pate
My cat normally likes the Fancy Feast gravy varieties but hates the Pate's. She loved the Salmon pate meals, which chocked me. You asked about the scent??? Since I'm not fond of the scent of any cat food, I'll have to defer to my cat, who has no problem in eating this variety.

Not as advertised
Although my cats did eat this, it did not contain any of the vegetables advertised. I have purchased this product before and it had visible vegetables whereas this is a pate.
