Not a very well made sight
At first, when I received it, I thought this would be a great product for the price.Unfortunately, after mounting it you realize that even with the screws tighten - the sight jiggles around. Well, if it jiggles, it means it can't stay zeroed. The glass mount for the refraction looked weak and could likely fall out as per other reviewer's comments.Needless to say, I had to return it and applied the money to a real EOTech. This sight would be fine for an airsoft gun since accuracy isn't really important there. This was mounted on an HK Carbine.

Very rugged but not visible in sunlight
This was the 2nd one, first did not to turn on, purchased replacement batteries, still no dot. Super customer service had a 2nd on on its way quickly. Dot turned on and at maximum intensity , it was a struggle to see the dot in sunlight. Perhaps add should read " for indoor range only". Too bad, rugged design, quality lens and parallax free, just no good outside.

Aimshot Red Dot Sight
I purchased this item to mount on my Smith & Wesson M&P 15, and I have to say it was worth every penny. It holds zero, is easy to adjust the dot size, and even easier to zero in.I mounted it to the flat top rails, loosend the the locking screw like it said on the paper, zeroed the sight with a bore sighter, final adjusted it with 2 shots, tightened the locking screw and was good to go. I put the rifle in the case and prepared for a day at the range with some friends.Upon removing the rifle from it's case, I was glad to see the sight still maintained zero. and after 1000 rounds of PMC and Federal 5.56, the sight still held its zero. It wasn't loose, there was no wobble or rattle, and there was no loss of visibility with the sunlight. The sight didn't come with 100% step by step idiot proof clear instructions, which is what makes me think is the cause of people haveing problems holding zero. It's very simple to zero in this sight and have it keep zero. For the money, I say go for it. If you're in the market for this type of sight, look no further.
