Simple Designs LD2016-BSN Adjustable Flexible Gooseneck Clip Light Desk Lamp, Brushed Nickel

I bought these to light my 6500k bulbs for my planter tank. I haven't been able to find the Mainstays brand ones. They work fine, but since it has a non-flexible metal part I can't clip them onto the plastic tank trim. I will need mount a strip of wood over the length of the water left to right and clip them onto that and then aim the lights. I'm not taking a start off because that's a personal use issue, not a company fault.

Needed a clip lamp to attach to shelf for an extra Phillips Hue A19 - E26 smart bulb. This was price right and is a pretty classy looking for my taste. Cord wasn't long enough for my perticular application, but after I made sure it worked, I cut of the plug and crimped on a 10ft lamp cord. Not a fault of the design, just need about 15' to get to the outlet.

I use these lamps to help my plants grow here in Alaska during the winters when you have days on end without sunlight. They are simple and effective at fufilling their purpose. A great lamp to buy if you need multiple light sources for something cheap and effective.

Yup, the consensus is correct.Pros: solid, functional, affordable lamp. No special bulbs, or LED on/off toggle if attached to a main switch. The finish is unremarkable and serviceable.Cons: she gets sad and droopy if curved, and to hold position it needs a straight neck.I’d give it a “B” instead of a “B+” if you know what I mean.

This is a basic clamp-on Lamp. The tube steel stem supports a short flexible neck that the lamp shade rests upon. The only issue is that the lamp shade can only effectively face forward..in the direction of the clamp. This means that the lamp is really designed to be clamped onto the back of the desk or bookshelf. With a little hardware modification, one can change the direction of this otherwise fine clamp-on lamp.

I bought 2 of these to put backstage at our community theatre. We used them for about 10 days in July for a couple hours each night. Well, we used 1 for 10 days, the other blew the bulb on the 2nd day. Boxed them up until our current show. Replaced the bulb but it's not very bright. Impossible to read by. The second turned on, but the knowb broke when we turned it off. Total garbage. Absolutely not worth the price. The metal is sturdy and the clip and flexibility are nice, but if you need a Titleist, look elsewhere.

I needed a good lamp for my headboard so that I could read in bed. This lamp met and exceeded all expectations. It uses a standard sized light bulb (not included) which I prefer as the smaller bulbs are awkward and the fixed bulb lamps you toss out. This lamp also looks well made, it is mostly metal components instead of plastic junk. I’ve used this lamp for about a month now and could not be happier with it. It is very flexible so I can shine the light on my book and not disturb my wife who is trying to sleep.

Definitely worth it! But please note that it does not come with a bulb -you need to buy a bulb separately
