The hype about duracoat was a fail in my book.
I would give 5, because it came out perfect, but in order to get that you NEED to be on your prep game If I had done any less which I feel I did the minimum consisting of sand blasting, a fairly expensive airbrush 125$, acetone wash, duracoat cleaner with scotchbright then acetone bath again and paint. If I had not sandblasted it I feel the paint would come off pretty easily and I mean easy. Its not as durable as I thought it'd be though. I'm going to cerakote some rifles and see the difference. I will keep an update once I have done so.

Durable and easy to use.
I've been using Duracoat for more than a year and have painted several weapons. If you use a decent airbrush, it is easy to use. Let it cure according to the instructions and you have a tough, durable paint job for whatever it is that you are painting. The best part: no baking required.
