I was skeptical about the material and concerned about microplastic. However, this towel works so well and is perfect for travel. It is super light and looks so small (perfect for packing). It is surprisingly absorbent. The 20x40 is perfect as bath towel. And it dries super fast. Just hang it on a hanger in the hotel bathroom or hotel closet and it dries in a few hours. This towel had a write up about how wonderful it was, which persuaded me to buy it. It is a microfiber towel, in contrast to the cotton Terrycloth that is most commonly used for towels. This means that it doesn’t possess the fuzzy, cuddly texture of a normal towel: instead, it feels a bit rubbery and coarse. The towel DOES absorb water decently, but not as well as a standard terrycloth towel. It also dries quicker than a normal towel, and folds up into a very petite package. For these reasons, it is suitable for a travel or camping towel, but you won’t be tempted to replace your home’s towels with this.

I bought these to include in Go-bags. They take very little space, are light weight, seem to absorb fairly well and dry quickly. In truth, I believe that, like similar items, absorption will improve with use. The colors are ever nice, too. These would serve well at the gym, when diving, or at the pool also
