My husband wore these out to the deer stand and said they kept his feet warm the whole time he said they did get a lit to warm on high heat. But over all he likes them.

Not very warm at all. Could barely feel heat on high! Returned.

Love these socks! I originally got them for my wife, as her feet are always cold and I grow tired of her warming them by pressing those foot-shaped icicles against my body under the covers at night. But I digress. The rechargeable batteries charge quickly using the two-headed charging micro-USB charging cord, and while the instructions indicate that you double-press the button to turn each one on, you really hold down the power button to turn it on. Each sock is made of thick, comfortable material that helps to retain the heat once it is distributed. Once you turn them on, the socks heat up fairly quickly and evenly, and the batteries last an astonishing 10 hours on Low and even 8 hours on Medium. My wife preferred Medium. They are warm and cozy and well-made. The only thing closest to a complaint is that the socks that we purchased are quite large, and my wife's feet were not quite large enough, requiring periodic adjustment to ensure that the heating elements were in the right spot. Needless to say, they are amazing and I plan to buy a second pair for myself.
