Super bright. Hi, low, strobe. This is my go to light when I need to free up my hands. Head bands are comfortable, even when worn directly in contact with forehead. I’m still impressed with how long the charge lasts. I bought a second one which I keep in my truck.Recommend this head lamp

I purchased one for work. It was comicly bright. Serious overkill. Which is what I wanted. I showed the wife while taking the dog out for her final time of the night. The wife told me to buy another. Charging it is super fast and simple. The battery pack going on the back of the head is more comfortable than you would think.

Insanely bright - you can probably see this thing from space. However it has a large battery pack on the back - so if you're going to be using this while laying on your back, such as working on plumbing under a sink, then you'll want something else.

This is the largest rechargeable battery-based head lamp that I have found -- and I love it! The battery is not a standard size, and so far, I have not found a battery charger that will charge these batteries. The headlamp does come with a lovely USB charging cable, but I really wish spare batteries AND a external charger were available. -- I will build such a charger -- using Sparkfun/Adafruit components -- but there should be a mainstream type battery used (perhaps a long wire to a battery pack that clips onto your belt would be better/best).Harbor Freight sells an excellent Quantum headset that uses AAA batteries and that is my most used -- simply because I can easily change the rechargeable AAA batteries.Harbor Freight also sells a rechargeable Quantum headset that is possibly equally as bright as this head set -- but it runs out of battery power so quickly (less than 10-minutes per charge).I'm glad that I bought two of these head lamps. I use one as a charger and pack the spare set of batteries into the field. It takes a long time to charge the batteries...but you can use them for the brightest and longest lasting of any headset that i know of (Lowes/Homedepot/Harbor Freight anyways).

The plastic support shown in all the pictures of the headlight is not sent. That support can be important to a buyer.It is very clearly shown in the pictures and should not be shown if it is really not included. If it can be included, please send us one.It makes the headlight much more useful and comfortable. The picture is misleading and untruthful if the support is not included.It leads one to think it may also not be included in the other headlights, and that the advertising is untruthful. As a stockholder,I want our advertising to be as truthful and accurate as possible, and not misleading or dishonest. Otherwise the headlight is great.Thank you , wrm

We like these headlamps so well that we have purchase 6 of them now and all of them are still working great. We live on a farm and use them every day. The batteries hold a charge for a long time and the quality is wonderful. Highly recommended!

I got this over 4 years ago after having many different led flashlights that would all quit working within months. I mainly use it for working on cars. It gets exposed to 100+ temps and subzero temps. The zoom feature doesn't work anymore, but I never used it anyway. Battery life seems to be over 8 hours on the dimmer setting and about half that on the bright setting. I have ran it down to almost nothing many times, but It still has the original batteries.Probably one of the best bang for buck tools I ever purchased.

The headlamp works great, but I’m giving this a 1 star because today, after having it charging for less than 20 minutes with the provided car charger and usb cord, it’s was SMOKING! Thankfully, I was there to pull it out before any harm could happen to our truck. The usb part (opposite the smiley face) was melting! I don’t doubt that it would have burst into flames if no one was there to stop it.
