It is exactly what it is supposed to be, and it's a great addition to your training setup. If you're a heavy hitter (which is counter productive to what this is supposed to train in the first place.) then you may need to put some tape, or tie a knot under the quick release buttons once you have them set in order to keep them from slipping, but as long as you keep in mind that while this is similar to a double end bag, it's not. This is to train speed and reflexes, not power. With an actual double end bag, you can work on all three. So as long as you aren't trying to kill the ball with your punches, the buttons shouldn't slip much at all.My one concern is that the ball can move on the string, but it doesn't with normal use. I wonder how well this will hold up over time. But for now, it's a solid purchase.

The product has a major defect that needs to be pointed out immediately. The dowels or tightening the bands need to be readjusted every 30 seconds or so. You can get through a single workout without constantly having to dowels because the elastic on either side keeps slipping in the ball gets lower and lower with each hit. Frankly, I'm very disappointed that this product would be for sale without a better system for holding your selected tightness in place.Other than that, the product is great for Speed and coordination and it is a nice concept. I still like the product quite a bit because it is really great for quickness and timing. I haven't found another bag that equals this bag in that respect. I just wish that the dowels and adjustment part of this product was better quality.

This device broke the first time we used it in my gym. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product. I made my own and it's much, much better than this.

The elastic string/band used to support the ball snapped and perforated my son's cornea. It does give this warning in the box. HEED that warning!!! It worked great until it didn't.

It was cool but the tennis ball broke.It is over priced for a ball and a string but I didn't care too much about that. I used it for maybe 2 weeks before the tennis ball split in half. I was hitting it hard-ish but not full out, but very frequently. It helped with my skill and hand eye but it just didn't last. Also you have to tie knots in the string or the ball will move up and down a lot.

Perfect for apartment use and smaller spaces. Very quiet recoil. Don’t expect the durability of a double end bag (and no, it’s not meant to hit hard) but works just as good. Actually, much harder to hit with bare knuckles because of the small size of ball but had my heart racing within a few minutes of tapping the ball and bobbing and weaving.

Great product, just as advertised. Used to increase awareness and reaction.
