I have received 3 of these now and feel I can honestly review. I gave one star to balance out high end reviews. This really deserves to be a two star item. The product is decent but all three have come in pieces with the board and case not assembled. Literally had to rivet the case together myself and hope that the motherboard worked because it was left loose in a pile of metal. Tried replacing one but it came back in the same condition. So this appears to be the overall expected condition when purchasing these. For this price I would expect at least an item that is put together and does not require assembly.

I have several of these mining cases and power supplies from this seller.This mining case is far superior with it's 8 fans to the 4 fan version giving it more consistent and balanced air flow. Also, the thickness of the sheet metal case is great. I have had other cases with lighter gauge metal that just felt cheap.I typically run HiveOS off of USB on these units just to keep things simple and to be able to have a "hot swappable" OS in case I need to do maintenance or do a large driver upgrade.I typically spread the power load from multiple PCIe power connectors when powering high power use cards like a 3080 or 3090 to reduce the load on a single power connector plugged into the motherboard.I recommend also using a separate PCIe cable for each motherboard power inlet connection as opposed to using multiple taps on the same cable to reduce the number of cables as inputs because I have had issues with GPU's drawing too much power via the bus.All of these units that I have used the above strategy along with the 80% rule of power load on the PS used have given me good stable results and reduced my GPU temps.After using these rigs, I returned my Octominer cases to save the extra cost and be able to xfer more GPU's into a case environment with 8 fans instead of 4.I highly recommend this product.

If you’re a beginner miner, it may seem like it would be easy to get started with a prebuilt rig like this… unfortunately, the instructions aren’t clear. So good luck.Don’t expect to be able to mine on windows with this machine. It’s SO SLOW on Windows, especially with all 8 GPU’s plugged in. If you want to mine with this, use some Linux build like HiveOS or MinerstatOS.The case is well built, but good luck finding a 2U PSU that has long enough cables to reach all 8 GPU’s. The fans are loud but it’s a mining rig so I can’t really fault it for that.The seller is very responsive and will do their best to help you. I just can’t recommend this product because you can get a much better result building your own mining rig (in my opinion).

Purchased 7 of these and have had to get 4 replaced. They are DOA (Do not post) and the ones that do restart every 5 to 15 mins regardless of OC's. Tried trouble shooting with multiple new PSU's, and that is not the issue. I suspect the MB's are faulty as I have tried everything from 2060's - 3070ti's. Stay away. I figured these would be good instead if spending a premium on octominers, I figured wrong. Should have purchased octominers.

i wasn't expecting much from the instructions, but following them resulted in a blown plug/spark from the motherboards fan port. got it working otherwise and i like the item, but tech support? where you at? combined with item that arrived bent/damaged, i cant give a good rating.
