A very dark film
Kristen Stewart's portrayal of Diana is brilliant, but the film itself is very dark, left me feeling extremely depressed. I cannot imagine the RF take 3-4 hours getting dressed for dinner each night. There was almost no script. A very strange film, I will not watch again.

I agree with all the negative reviews!! Unfortunately we cannot give it less thatn 1 star!!
I agree with all the negative reviews!! The one star is for Kristen Stewart who despite the script tried to portray Diane with compassion as a sad unloved victim, which she was. I don't think film makers should be allowed to mix fact and fiction in this way. For anyone who isn't familiar withg the back story of Diana (i.e. the younger generation) they would think this was an honest portrayal of Diana. who was losing her mind particulaly the part where she believed she was tallking to Anne Bolyne!!! I was disappointed and upset, at this cruel portrayal of Diana, who obviously had emotional problems but these were caused mainly by the lack of love and caring on the part of Charles. The scene which really upset me was when William was trying to persuade his mother to come down to dinner!!! The story of Diana is sad itself without trying to blame her for not coping with situation she found herself in. The other thing is this showed the royal family as completely cold and uncaring in their attitude to Diana.

Disappointment, despite Kristen Stewart
I was looking forward to this one. I think Pablo Larraín is a very good director - I really liked "No", "Neruda and I thought "Jackie" was excellent! But this one just came across as silly and unnecessary. In my experience it added nothing to the myth/legend/whatever that was Diana Spencer. Very disappointing.

Utter tosh
This film stinks and the clues start when you see it is a European production.Littered with many mistakes.Firstly, did you know that Sandringham now has a moat, has doubled in size and looks surprisingly German.Secondly, did you know that in Norfolk on Christmas day, it is still light at 5pm?And then in one scene, she cuts her left arm, but in the very next scene, the cut has magically moved to her right arm.I could go on but in summary, a poor story, poor acting (Timothy Spall maintains his miserable stare face for the whole of the film and imagine Catherine Tate doing her poorest Diana impression), poor sound and just general rubbish. Even the scarecrow looked embarrassed. Not even worthy of the Channel 5 Monday 3pm naff film slot.

Wot a boring film
This was a very boring film. Diana just mopes around and thinks shes going to be killed. The Royal Family just seem useless!!! I was boring stiff and didn't make it to the end. I do not recommend this movie at all, don't waste yer money. The Diana story has been told by others in a much better way. this movie is pants
