Didn't work very well. But maybe if I had it tighter it would have. Think a wider one works better. How fine is the line between quieting your rooster, and "chocking your chicken"? Lol.

I can't exactly give a comfort rating as I'm not a rooster, but from what I've seen, if you're planning on strangling your roosters or rubbing all their neck feathers off or chafing their skin to the point of infection or just until the collar becomes a part of their body, these are perfect. If you actually care about your roosters, the expensive My Pet Chicken brand is a lot more effective and didn't rub any feathers off or chafe at all. These also didn't do much for keeping crowing down unless you made it impossible for them to breathe. I would say these guys are great for keeping wires and cords from getting tangled, but not effective rooster collars.

This is not humane. Did not expect no backing material between skin and Velcro. I wouldn’t wear this, much less choke my chicken with it. Instant Buyers remorse when received.

Put it on my rooster and quiets him a little but not a lot, have to re-adjust it every morning to keep him quiet w/o actually choking him

I put 2 on, still crowing.
