You never know what to expect when ordering something in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised how well made and solid this mandolin is. I bought it to replace my old old one from 1994. I will use it mainly for cutting corn of the cob when processing it to freeze for winter. We went through a dozen ears of corn in a little over 5 minutes. Slices the corn off the cob like butter and has adjustments that can be changed with just one slight turn of the wheel. I definitely recommend this mandolin. It is worth every penny

I have tried every setting on this mandoline and I find that the thinest slicing setting works best. Fpr some reason the vegetables (I have tried taro roots, onions, carrots, jicama, and potatoes) get stuck and require a little more force when I tried to make thicker slices or juliene. It is well-designed and sturdy however. I appreciate that the mandoline comes with a single piece to adjust the cut and thickness. This minimizes the risk of getting injured because you don't have to change blades. I just wish that I could figure out how to mame thicker slices and juliennes with ease.

The product was delivered on time and just as it is described. We cut onions on it and didn’t even realize it was cutting! It is very sharp! It has a good weight, so it feels like good quality. It definitely saved time and tears!

I bought this Mandolin it hopes to make my life easier when preparing some food I going like to make for instance my grandsons amd granddaughter love chicken breast thinly sliced works very well out of one half of breast that is still partially frozen I can get 5 to 7 slices works great also making fry zucchini cutting them length wise making French fries and much more easy to clean. Easy to use grip is good for the size. Safety this is not watch the blade on it. It is razor sharp just touching it will cut you always after cleaning put the safety cover back on. Otherwise it a great thing in the house.

I had high hopes for this mandolin, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The blade doesn’t fit properly into the base, making it practically useless. No matter how much I tried to adjust it, the blade was either too loose or wouldn’t click into place at all. I’m honestly surprised this product made it past quality control. For something that’s supposed to make food prep easier, it’s been nothing but frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Needed a mandolin slicer for cutting carrots, potatoes, and other fruits and veggies. With the way this unit turns the various blades up and adjusts the thickness, it was more trouble trying to tweek it to cut right and very difficult to get into all the little nooks and crannies for cleaning. Although the blades are sharp, it takes a hefty push to get a potato or carrot past the blade. You end up moving the whole unit due to the amount of force required. Should be a simpler design with less features so that it will work better for simple sliced cuts. The unit is sturdy, but very difficult to keep over a bowl during use.
