I use this item for my sons' lunches. I usually put hotdogs in there and have my sons hold the paper instead of the hotdogs when eating (to avoid germs / dirty hands while eating) Now oftentimes it's their grandma who packs their lunch. She trims the these paper bags though. So I guess it's too long for her. My observation is that this paper bag seems pretty thin and flimsy - rips apart easily. So if you intend to puts lots of things in there and heavy it may rip. Other than that I'm pretty happy with it and the price. With 500 qty it'll be awhile before I need to order.

These bags are a bit thinner than I expected, but that is not a problem. I am satisfied with the bags. The packaging was torn when they arrived, but the contents were undamaged.

Seems funny to leave a review for brown paper bags, but here it is. Like others on here, I originally bought these bags for scooping the cat box, and since these come in a big bundle of 500 I am all set for well over a year! They are also useful for giving away stuff from your garden, or really any other application where you want to get away from plastic bags. The paper is not super durable, but it does the job. I hope Amazon never stops selling these.

Will fit a lot of cat litter box debris but when things are soggy, it will leak through and tear.

I bought these to help with my curbside composting --and they are perfect. There are days that I can almost fill the bag--so why not do that instead of always using the expensive (and flimsy) compostable "plastic" (??) bags....anyway, just fine!

The DURO 18406 #6 bag is an excellent product, no question. The problem here is that the seller sent me an entirely different bag that was FAR lower quality and definitely NOT the DURO 18406. They sent an entirely different brand all together. The DURO 18406 #6 bag is a quite heavy duty product and more expensive than most others. It was a very intentional order for a heavy duty bag. What was delivered to me was a flimsy #6 bag that I cannot even use. This gives me great pause with the seller because if someone is ordering that specific DURO bag, it’s because they want or need something heavy duty. To send something that would easily rip open if you put even a slightly wet sofa can in it is not cool. I needed these and ordered in a pinch and now need to scramble for a solution. Not a happy guy right now. Again, the DURO bags are an excellent product and are DEFINITELY worth the extra cost, no doubt. But getting those cheap flimsy ones was really aggravating and that is on this seller for sure. :(

Excellent product. Just the right size for sack lunches for the homeless. I fold the top over twice and staple the edges together. Holds a good sized lunch (and very well received too).

My church does lunches for school kids that are sent to school without a lunch, and many of them have not breakfast... anyway we use these bags and they work great, I'm ordering 2 more cases right now!!!

Wish they were a little thicker, will tear at the top of my product is a bit wide, but over all they do the job.They arrived way quicker than expected!

I bought these for marketing garlic. They are a bit light for packaging 3 to 5 pounds, but at this price, I could double bag and still be happy with them.
