This bread is AWESOME; no
This bread is AWESOME; no, you can't make a sandwich from, but only a very few ingredients, not dangerous chemicals. Little Pricey, but worth it once in awhile. Individually wrapped and you can store it for a LONG time, which is also a PLUS !

There are places with a dearth of good bread. This helps fill that void, although it’s not as good as fresh from the bakery itself!

Absolutely fantastic bread - but is it worth $10 a baguette
update: 10/23/2016this is at costco for $6.99, I just verified today - I wasn't crazy after all. I just went and bought more. At that price I hope costco carries these as a staple because I will be buying them as long as they do.I kept thinking about the star rating I gave this product as well. I decided to give the product a rating based on the product itself instead of cost pushing it down and address the cost in the comments.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------I wouldn't pay $10 for a baguette, even though I am a total bread head and these are amazing. Rating is due to price not deliciousness or quality. However, I'll let you decide.I actually bought this at Costco thinking it was about $3 a baguette, somehow didn't see the 2 in front of the price. I'm very cost conscious and generally pay close attention to such things. Didn't realize the delimma until I tasted these things and wanted more. When I looked it up at Costco online - didn't exist.Searched further and realized these were not a $3 a piece item but a $10 plus a piece item. On their website be prepared for astronomical shipping as well - $20 range so that's a rip to claim a price and then skewer you on shipping. Amazon sellers do it all the time, cheaper price, triple shipping.I thought - quality bread with shelf stable at $3 - no way, gotta give it a try, how bad can that be. First bell, sounded to good to be true, my fault.BreadAmazing, honestly one of the best baguettes I have ever had, hands down. Crispy! flavorful crust, great somewhat dense homade tasting and slightly sour dough with tremendous soft chew and texture. In a word - homemade. It really is fantastic. To boot, put it on a shelf for an "unspecified" months of shelf stable time - well heck even one month would be great if it's halfway decent.Supermarket baguettes are airy and totally weak, no structure and almost no flavor or character. I live in an area where a good bakery is a doughnut shop and the supermarket bakery is about the only fresh bread you can get. It all tastes like it's made from the same base bread dough with different shapes and a bucket of air in the bread with no texture or flavor. Essentially white bread with stuff in it or on it to justify The "artisan" bread cost. This was good, really good - but is it 5 times the cost good?Personally, deeeeelicious but too expensive, I know, you pay for what you get but wow. it would be purely a luxury item since I can't afford a $10+ baguette but it is nice to know I could store it and on special dinners I could whip one out and have some really nice bread that I know we don't get around here.If you could manage to hit a price point of maybe $5-6 instead of 10, I would never buy supermarket bread again. I would keep my pantry loaded with this stuff and just cut down on eating bread.Summary:Damn good - too expensive
