Good concept, but could have a better design
I bought this for my two cats: one is very food-oriented and the other is very high-energy and needs a lot of mental stimulation. Overall this is a great puzzle toy for both of their personalities. However, the design could be better, since it seems to be geared toward dogs:1. The holes on top of the cups are too large for cats! If I put small kibble in there, both of my cats will simply fish it out with their tongues. I also have some larger treats that I put into the cups (i.e. won't fit through the hole), but they still basically lick the treats through the holes to death and only solved the puzzle by accident that way. I tried putting some tape over the holes (while supervising to make sure they didn't accidentally ingest the tape), and behold - it worked great. They actually tried to remove the cups and solve the puzzle. Now I will try to find a non-toxic, longer-term solution to cover the holes or make them a little smaller.2. As another reviewer said, flipping the cups once they are removed took them a little time to figure out but isn't too difficult for them on a carpet. I imagine they'd have a harder time with that on a hard surface. I also supervise them when they use the puzzle so that they don't knock the cups into the black holes that lurk underneath furniture and appliances. That said, I'll probably still buy a second one once I figure out how to deal with the large holes so that they each have their own to solve.

Great idea, but some problems
Great idea, but some problems, and I doubt we will use it. Mostly, when the food domes where you put the treats finally slide out, they frequently remain upright with the food STILL UNDER THEM. This makes it almost impossible for the cats to turn them over. On hardwood floors the cats then chase them around until they disappear under furniture making us have to go looking for them. Might work better on carpets. A little better design is needed to make them flip as they come out, or make them easier for cats to flip once they are out.

Good, but a little too easy for smart dogs !
Love it, even though my dog figured it out a little too fast ahahah !But it occupied her for at least 1h xDIf you have a smart dog, I recommend starting with LVL 2 or 3 toys !

Two day toy, then a paperweight
It was good, kept him busy for a little while, til he got the first piece off. Then he just went off & played with that little piece, swatting it around, until he lost it... (under the washer, fridge, stove, somewhere irretreievable) So then he went & started playing with the maze again, got another piece off, and same thing, started playing with it til it got lost.He did this with all 4 pieces, now all the pieces are gone, and we're left with an empty maze we cannot use.Lasted a whole 2 days.Expensive for a two day toy.I do not reccomend.

Three Stars
My cat can bite and take the little block off directly. After that it is not a puzzle anymore.

My kitty loves this.
At first, my cat ignored this toy. She spent a few minutes trying to get her nose into the holes over the treats, then wandered away. I put it aside, and a few months later set it out. She now loves it! She got so fast at getting the four treats that I put the center post in, and it only took her a few runs to solve it quickly, so now I'm buying another to make it more difficult for her. It's a great way to give her something to do (she's an indoor-only cat). I use small freeze-dried salmon treats made by Cat-Man-Doo. Perfect size for this, and the treats are good for her too.

Great
Totally challenges my cat. This is a great way to interact with your cat while mentally stimulating them. It was a bit of a challenge for my guy but after a while he picked up on how to do it. We play with it every few months to keep it interesting.

Too easy
I though this would be fun to buy, to guide a snack through a maze into an open edge. But the pieces that hide the snack can be easily lifted up. My dog can go through this in less than a minute.

A neat idea but needs better execution.
The treat-containing capsules can easily be tugged up and freed at any of the junction points without having to actually solve the puzzle. It took like two seconds for my pet to figure that out and then it was useless for keeping her occupied.

Great, need more like these!
Perfect. As usual my little yorkie was hesitant to use it, as with anything new. But when I turn around for a second, she’s already at it and got all her treats. I’m so excited to use this I want to order the advanced versions. Great product, well thought out. Good quality.

Great puzzle feeder
Great product. Inexpensive and takes my cat time to work for his treats. Would recommend, but does take some coaching as a cat may not get the treat on first few tries.
