Good for grill not so good for smoking

It burns hotter and long than briquettes.
If your first time using make sure you give the coal time to light. This is not king’s ford briquettes.

Nice sized chunks. Seasoned wood lights easily and retains heat. Light to handle and great for smoker.

Incredibly disappointing
For supposed lump charcoal the pieces are tiny. Think what’s at the bottom of the bag of a good lump charcoal.And then! The “Natural Firestarters” they send along and claim are good for starting a cooking fire is Pine. Pine. Seriously. Acrid and shouldn’t be burning anywhere near food.Stay away.

Product was delivered on time. I was very disappointed with the size of the charcoal. The pieces were very small. Once it finally got to temperature it was fine and retained the heat. The smoke had a nice flavor. I appreciated it came with wood starters. Those worked great.

Average burn. Too small for the price and quality of the burn. I had to go get some from my local store because this bag wasn't enough and it burned, not quick but it didnt last long as another brand I use.
