Excellent price and product
Nice pads

Good product
Pads have good straps that are very adjustable, have plastic fork clips, and sturdy plastis on the bottom near the heel. If you got the catcher or blocker, it is not the same material. This is a fabric everywhere besides the top where it bulges out. Overall, very sturdy and well made.

They will only be good for deck hockey - on plastic rinks made for ...
The pads are NOT for asphalt street hockey. You cannot slide on these. They will only be good for deck hockey - on plastic rinks made for inline. I tried to modify these pads with cuts of thick plastic riveted to the pad but it didnt last for more than one game.So if you are looking to make those amazing post-to-post slides to save a wicked corner shot, you won't be able to on asphalt with these pads. These should NOT be described as "Street Hockey" pads. You're better off using the old-school, hard plastic/foam Mylec pads.

THESE ARE BALL HOCKEY PADS ONLY!!!!!!
Please any person or parent do not buy these pads for any kind of hockey except ball hockey. I play Ice hockey and I have very good equipment and I still manage to get burises, imagine what these pads would do to you if you tried to bring them on the ice. Lets put things in perspective for all of you considering these pads. A official ice puck weighs 6 ounces, the average slapshot (for players 21 and up) is 68 MPH. That is some serious force, mylec pads would explode. Now roller hockey (which I play as well) sounds less agressive but the truth is there is not much difference between ice and roller except the ice. I use ice pads for roller cause anything else would hurt me, the the shots are still just as fast and the puck is only a little bit lighter. There are 2 different kinds of roller hockey, puck and ball. A roller hockey puck weighs 4.5 ounces and the average slapshot is even faster at 75 MPH, yea I still think the mylec pads would explode. These pads are made for ball hockey either indoors or outdoors. Consider this an expert opinion I have been a goalie for 17 years, I know a thing or two about pads. This might sound harsh but if you want to play ice hockey and are considering this pad, you should not be playing ice hockey, or puck roller for that matter. If you are a parent trying to find a cheap pad for your aspiring ice/roller goalie (non ball) there are better outlets then this. I just saw a pair of reebok revokes for like $300 on this site, if you cant afford at least $200 for junior goalie pads then maybe goaltending shouldnt be the sport of choice. Dont put your kids well being at risk so you can save a few bucks. I will list a few hockey websites so you can get real pads. [...] [...] [...] [...] [...] These site all have a clearence section and there are always great pads under $250 on them.

They're just ok...not worth $100 in my opinion
I have used the pads twice for roller and deck, not on asphalt. The first time they were fine, however they have less straps than my other leg pads so they move around quite a bit even tight, which causes them to move when you go down and I blasted my knee off the roller surface which hurt quite a bit and even 3 weeks later still has some discomfort. The 2nd time I played the screws that keep that front toe plate thing on started popping out. This doesn't take away from the functionality of the pads but thought I'd let anybody interested know. The main problem is the lack of straps and the movement of the pads this causes, and because of my knee getting screwed up in the first game, I believe contributed to how I played the game my 2nd game as i was more reluctant to go down and lay out because i didn't want to screw my knee up again. If anybody is going to buy these, I seriously recommend buying a pair of thin knee pads to go under to protect, not the front of the knee, like the knee cap, but the side of the knee, it was the inside of my right knee that got messed up.Overall, I guess they are ok, I will be using them again tonight and through the entire season, I'm not spending $100 on a set of pads to not use them.

Great Pads
These pads were awsome they did the trick for my 5yr old. They will be good for him to practice with.

Their okay
The pads are nice at first but i guess their made for inline more than street. The straps are falling off and theres already a hole in the bottom. But other than that their okay.

Solid construction and the material feels like it will hold up for a while
Solid construction and the material feels like it will hold up for a while.Would like a tighter fit as the straps are midway on the sides and the buckles don't grip the straps that well. But otherwise great pads for the price.
