VictoryStore Yard Sign Outdoor Lawn Decorations: "Merry Christmas" Yard Sign Letters, Includes 2 Stakes Per Letter

We wanted to add some words to our display this year and I rolled the dice on these based on other reviews. I actually wanted to stake the words like in the photo, stocked on top of one another, but I already knew the stakes were to short to do that. I read in another review a guy used wooden dowels to extend the stake height to stack the words using zip ties and a dab of hot glue to keep them from spinning around too much. Worked perfect! Got some pretty decent sized dowels costing roughly 25 bucks BUT the first good wind we got several snapped off at the ground. So we ended up just laying them out left to right in a long pattern using the provided stakes....thats when the full realization sits in that the word MERRRY is way bigger than Christmas. Stacked on top it looked really good...side to side...ehh..looks weird. I already knew from reviews the letters were not bright red and they arent...just a muted flat red. We purchased 2 red LED spotlights to light up the sign which makes them a bit more red and shiny.Overall im satisfied with the sign and I think it will last a few seasons...just need to figure out a better way to stack the words.

Love the idea and the pattern was very cute and christmasy. Not hard to put in the yard, but they do swing around and bend with the wind a lot. So you have to go out every so often to straighten up. Will use for years to come they are made of a good sturdy plastic-type material, so they seem to stand up to weather pretty good.

I went and put magnets on the back of the sign and then stuck it on my garage door it looked wonderful. Easy way to decorate.

The letters are nice. They have color on one side only - they are white on the back side. I thought it was a bit expensive for what it is, but it finishes up our holiday decorating nicely. We have a spotlight shining on the letters to light them up at night. Haven't been through any rain yet to see how the color holds up, will update if there are any major changes after a rain, or if there is any fading after the season.

As others have said These are made out of the same material camping signs are made out of. They are printed on one side. I assumed all the letters would be a solid red but they were all red pattered. They stayed put in a rain and wind storm. We will see how many seasons they last but so far they are ok.

I applied magnet tape to the back (not included, only $3 at Walmart) and placed it on my two car garage door. It fits perfectly and does not interfere with the garage door opening or closing. Several neighbors already asking where I purchased it. It was a great buy!
