I dont like that you need a allen wrench to use the horizontal part.

So today I finally was able to open the package, since I ordered item while I was on the road... so it appeared that high pole doesn’t open at the very top. It starts around 9ft mark. I was trying to open it, but no luck. Afraid to break it. I need either a refund on new pole. I need to use it!

Works like charm. The price is cheaper than whacking a bridge.

Measure oversized loads

Purchased July 24, 2020 ... Received this item quickly. This is easy to use and accurate measurements. I use this daily for my job. So far it’s holding up nicely. It came with a nice carry bag also. Unfortunately the only bad thing I have to say is the zipper on the bag broke. It doesn’t bother me nor is it a reason to complain. I keep this in my tool box in my truck out of the weather and it stays dry. I am happy with my purchase and will order again when needed.UPDATE: February 18, 2021... Not quite a year later and one of the little pop out pins broke. This item is no longer usable for me. I had to purchase a different one at a truck stop (others doing the same job as me prefer using a measuring tape. I will use that in a pinch but prefer this product better.). Is there an easy way to fix this? Or is this now garbage??
