This is a beautifully shaped star that is constructed really well. It might be the only tree topper I have ever used that I don't constantly fight with to get it to stand up straight because it is small and light. The battery container must be resting on a branch though. I wish there were more fairy lights to make it a brighter. My tree topper only has 20 total fairy lights – 6 lights on one side and 14 on the other side of my star, so I have to make sure the side with the most lights is the side that faces the room. You cannot see the star's lights during the day if there is daylight shining into a room but they are visible at night even with the room lights turned on. If the room is dark, the lights on the star look fine. I think the star would be much more noticeable if the lights where daylight-colored instead of soft white.When I received this star my first thought was, "This thing uses batteries? Well, that's a dumb design! Who would want to turn the star on and off with the little battery switch every time you light your tree?" I then grabbed a couple used rechargeable AA batteries out of a game controller, inserted them, and powered on the star. I've got to say that I am impressed with battery life. These little fairy lights must not draw much current. You might be able to leave the star powered on and not need to change batteries the entire time your tree is up. My half-way charged batteries have been powering the star for over 15 continuous days and the star is still going strong.The size of the star is 6x6 inches (15x15 cm) and the total height of the tree topper is 8 inches (20 cm). The base is 2 inches (5 cm) tall. As you can see from the pictures, the star looks like it belongs on a 5-foot tree much more than a 7-foot tree. The battery container cord is long enough to rest the battery compartment on some of the top branches and not be visible, but the batteries are heavy and will pull on the star if the battery compartment slides off of the branches. I love the shape and size of this star but I will probably end up cutting the battery cord and wire additional fairy lights and a 3-volt power adapter that I can connect to my other tree lights instead of using batteries.I would recommend this star to anyone wanting a cute little tree topper.

Perfect size and fit for a small Xmas tree. Mine is 4ft. Love the light switch! Adds some extra to it.

This is smaller than I expected, but very cute! Has a lacy material that connects the metal frame which has the lights sprinkled throughout. I would probably put this on my cube at work or on top of a mini tree vs on top of my large tree, just due to scale.

Our family put up our Christmas tree yesterday and this snowflake topper came in just in time! What a dazzling and finishing touch it was! Our family loved it and the battery pack was really easy to hide in plain sight and turn the light off and on. This makes a great Thanksgiving and the perfect topper to pass around as a family tradition.

I like how this product light up from top of the christmas tree ,it is very eye accomodating and it is really simpleto use ..I would highly recommend this to allthe people who loves to decorate their christmas tree.

We are super happy with our new tree topper. It arrived quickly, and it looks just like we wanted it to. I like that the power component is long enough to hang down behind the tree a few inches so that you can't see it. I would definitely recommend it; it is so cute!
