I used this mop on laminate and vinyl flooring. Cleans without streaking and dries almost immediately. Does not over wet the surface. Good product and arrived on time.

After seeing this on the website I thought I would like to give it a try as I thought everything about it sounded good particularly as I have two Rough Collie dogs and one is a year old and when it is wet this one loves bringing mud in her. So I thought you need a device like this instead of the old mop & bucket .I have given it time for a good trail and my thoughts are this it does work a lot better than the mop & Bucket.in These ways you can go over the floor without using a vacuum cleaner if you take care to collect it as you go from each section also I have found you are quiet surprised at the area it will do if you let it steam for a while before taking from the heat ,you can soon get used to how long you can leave it off before you need to heat it up again a word of warning if doing laminate you can soon get it over wet.one thing that you cannot do is the really non slip porcelain tiles as they just pull the cloth to pieces even their upright steamer does not like them which is a shame as these floors are getting common. I have also given it try on vertical surfaces such as our wet room tiles again it does seem to do a good job.as it lets you know how long you can leave it of the station as if you are not cautious you could get burnt by the steam as when you hold it up at a angle it can be quiet hot . I was impressed at the vertical steaming as for me it saves time setting the other one up and getting a pair of steps out .Which I think Having to set a separate steamer up and them stand on a pair of steps with a steamer is not my ideal of fun. One very big Draw back with the upright and the cordless is the cloths ., both sets are very week and threads just keeps falling apart as you as you use them and the wet room floor tiles and the conservatory is a big no.This could be a very good cordless steamer if the cloths were not so expensive to buy and you did not keep having to destroy them after using them with these types of floor ,so come on Polti you have been making steamers for long enough now to know these cloths are substandard for stone floors.

Cleaning floors. Hard to remove marks needed cleaning liquid and elbow grease.

Used this on an area of our Karndean kitchen floor. Estimated that it would have taken over an hour to cover it, while a conventional mop takes ten minutes. Also, it picked up hardly any dirt, using just water as we are told to do, while going over the area again with hot water and Flash got lots of dirt up on the conventional mop.And it’s not really a steam cleaner; no steam ever touches the floor, but only the mophead, and by the time that touches the floor it’s just hot water, and not very much of that.Yes, it’s pretty - but it’s pretty useless.We’re going corded.

Received mop today. Easy to set up. However very disappointed with the level of steam and heat generated. All the device does is sanitise the cloth. By the time the mop has reached the floor to be cleaned the temperature is barely warm?? So how does it kill 98% of germs? Their tests must have been carried out on surfaces directly beside the device. I’ll use for a few days and see if cloth stays hotter for longer? But if all it does is sanitise the cloth, which doesn’t retain heat long enough to ‘sanitise floors, then I’ll return.Steam only coming out of a few holes and mop is falling apart.
