Though Pro does an excellent job with fit. It looks like it came from the factory with them installed.

As others have stated, these mats fit very well and are functional with the right set of expectations. That is, their design goal is to have an all-weather mat that can trap SOME liquid and also be able to be washed out. They are not a closed-tray design with high lips/walls like the well-known brand. That design could literally contain a spilled liter of liquid. The hexagonal pattern is almost identical to stock/OEM Mercedes all-weather mats so I knew they’d work for me.The cost savings comes from the ability to just cut out the patterns from bigger sheets of material. Each set is not custom-molded/formed with nice borders. With black/such a dark interior, you can’t see the borders anyway, making these mats a great buy for the functionality I was looking for. Five mins in the sun and they laid completely flat and there is little to no smell.

The mat precisely fits my new 2022 Model S LR. In fact it fits so precisely such that there is no wiggle room for me to flip over to get access to the bottom storage area. If the material was a bit softer, it would be easier, but the material is quite stiff and not that easy to fold to access the bottom storage, if I had to. So I ended up cutting about 1/2" on the side near to the bumper for easier access. A large scissor did the trick. Otherwise, it looks fantastic and sturdy.

I didn't notice any smell like other reviews. The mat fits perfectly and is extremely snug to all edges. One thing I didn't realize was how curvy the trunk at the sides is which this will accentuate. There's a cutout for the under trunk storage flap. Opening the compartment under the trunk is still very doable, although of course a little heavier than without the mat. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it.

Bought these for my 2016.5 Tesla Model S. Contrary to another review, mine came as three pieces (not four) and fit perfectly. Spikes on the back hold them in place, and they don't move. The hexagon pattern looks good -- adds a high tech note to a high tech car. I live in Seattle and these do a great job of catching the water and muck in the winter.My inly complaint is that the top of the passenger side front mat occasionally flops down. I've had to push it back in place several times. I may look for some Velcro that matches the patches on the car carpet... it wouldn't need much to hold it in place.

The ToughPRO rear trunk mat for the Tesla Model S was cut a little oversized for our 2017 Model S 100D, but I'm OK with the size, as the edges turn up slightly, preventing spilled liquids from running over the edges of the mat. Not as elegant as WeatherTech's, but quite functional and way less expensive.Others have commented on a rubbery smell, but this is easily dissipated by airing the mat out in the open air for a while. I also sprayed Fabreze into the trunk for good measure after installation of the mat. Problem solved.I would give this product five stars, but for the fact that WeatherTech's mats have a superior fit. Still, I give ToughPRO four stars for a good, heavy-duty product at an attractive price.

I purchased them for my wife's new Tesla Model S. They fit well. They are indeed heavy duty and I anticipate will do an excellent job protecting the stock carpeting. They seem ideal for a car that is used to transport people who have walked in dirt, mud or snow. They are made of rubber with a deep circular "tread" pattern. I am happy with them but my wife mainly uses her car for city errands. She probably doesn't need such heavy duty mats and we will see if she eventually asks me to replace them with mats that are easier on her feet and better suited to her everyday use.
