If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I bought a 2 pack of this tahini on October 31, 2018. Both jars have "best by 12-31-19" date stamped on the lid. I opened this jar (see photo) today to find black mold lining the rim of the jar, inside the cap, and floating in the product! The other jar was fine. I would like a refund on this jar. And I will most definitely NEVER by another Shirley Bar product!

Phenomenal! I could eat it all day! A suggestion for the seller and/or manufacturer: the jars need to be sealed on the inside, beneath the cover. One of them opened slightly and the entire package was one huge oily mess that I had to clean up. I don't think the product spoiled, which is good, but also perhaps lucky. I suggest that this is a fix that is urgently needed. In addition, I think tahini should be refrigerated after opening, so I was lucky it's not summer, so mine hadn't spoiled. Unless this is inaccurate, it would be good to note "refrigerate after opening" in the label.

I bought 4 jars of these. The consistency is absolutely amazing for making salad dressings. It's creamy and soft and wonderful for drizzling or mixing. It is sweeter than your average tahini. The first day I loved it. The second day, not so much. There was a cloying aftertaste. I actually think I prefer the organic tahini I used before this. The texture is better here, but the taste not as good, in my opinion.

This tahini is smooth in taste and texture. It's easy to stir - tahini that I've been using is hard on the bottom and oily on the top. This one is easy to use starting with the first batch. It's also got a better flavor than any other tahini that I've tried. Some people say they can eat it straight - not me, but the bitterness is much less pronounced, and when prepared, it's dreamy.Note - watch the prices - it's a better deal when shipped from Shirley Bar directly versus a retailer. I saved about $10 on a two-pack.

I tried this brand of raw tahini after I saw that TannyRaw recommended it. I really love it! This is the best tasting raw tahini I've ever used and the consistency is smooth. Not too thick, not too runny, not bitter at all. Great product!

This was supposed to be the best tasting tahini anyplace. I just can't get into the taste. I will donate one jar to the food bank and try to doctor the taste with lemon or something on the one jar. Much too expensive IMO and moneys wasted.

This is the dankest, smoothest, most creamy tahini I've ever had...EVER. Seriously, buy this right now then go buy some medjool dates. When the tahini arrives, dip the dates in the tahini and place the wonderfully sweet and nutty concoction into your mouth. Thank me later.

The package arriving with oil leaking out of the Jar. There is no seal inside the opening of the jar. It is in a very sosft plastic container, which easily subject to pressure during leakage. The item is too liguidy, compare with many other Tahini that I had used. It said raw, which I assume it to be non-roasted. But it is not raw. It taste like regular roasted sesame Taihini. I am not happy about the packaging, price high for this product and the claim "RAW" is not true. and misleading.
