Phenomenal! I could eat it all day! A suggestion for the seller and/or manufacturer: the jars need to be sealed on the inside, beneath the cover. One of them opened slightly and the entire package was one huge oily mess that I had to clean up. I don't think the product spoiled, which is good, but also perhaps lucky. I suggest that this is a fix that is urgently needed. In addition, I think tahini should be refrigerated after opening, so I was lucky it's not summer, so mine hadn't spoiled. Unless this is inaccurate, it would be good to note "refrigerate after opening" in the label.

This tahini is smooth in taste and texture. It's easy to stir - tahini that I've been using is hard on the bottom and oily on the top. This one is easy to use starting with the first batch. It's also got a better flavor than any other tahini that I've tried. Some people say they can eat it straight - not me, but the bitterness is much less pronounced, and when prepared, it's dreamy.Note - watch the prices - it's a better deal when shipped from Shirley Bar directly versus a retailer. I saved about $10 on a two-pack.

OMG. Unbelievable. It is so creamy and has such great flavor that you want to eat it out of the jar. I was worried that since it was more runny that it wouldn't hold up in dressings and would require you to use more to get the same thickness that I was accustomed to with other tahini. Not so. When you add water or lime or lemon juice, it actually expands the tahini and does not compromise the creaminess. Just to express how much I enjoyed this, I am pretty sure that this is my first review on Amazon ever.

Great taste, great texture, great value! My boyfriend and I made some awesome vegan sauces with this...spicy mayo, tzatziki, and used it to thicken up an awesome teriyaki sauce, it is amazing! Just ordered again now!

I saw this brand recommended on a food website and have always been delighted with it. I had previously tried a number of different brands of tahini, but didn't care for their bitter taste. The taste and texture of Shirley Bar Living Ethiopian Tahini is far superior to anything else I've tried. As a vegan, I also appreciate that's it's labeled as a vegan product.

I found this tahini a while ago when I lived in Brooklyn,NY. I have it delivered to Los Angeles now because I won't eat any other tahini. I've had a lot of different kinds of tahini and am extremely picky about texture and taste. This is the best tasting and best texture tahini I've ever found. Every time I make it for friends or family they can't get over how amazing it tastes.

Nothing worse than having to chisel tahini out of a jar and trying to figure out when you have a Tbl worth of it for your recipe....THAT"S not the case with this product! Tastes great scoops out easily all the way to the bottom.

I bought 4 jars of these. The consistency is absolutely amazing for making salad dressings. It's creamy and soft and wonderful for drizzling or mixing. It is sweeter than your average tahini. The first day I loved it. The second day, not so much. There was a cloying aftertaste. I actually think I prefer the organic tahini I used before this. The texture is better here, but the taste not as good, in my opinion.
