Diskeeper Tonearm Headshell Level

Someone wrote that this is too heavy. This is correct if you don't balance your tone arm with this on your headshell. Set the proper tracking weight with this resting on the headshell for accurate reading. Also check bubble accuracy on a known level surface. My bubble was a little off. I made a mark with a fine point marker where the bubble rested on the high side. Then check your tone arm with the mark at 90 deg. from your headshell's center line. Perfect tool for intended use.

Tiny bubble level for your tonearm. Just the right size for it's intended use. Too small to use for turntable base leveling, but that is not what it was designed for.

Likely one of the best purchases I made for my Technics SL-1210GR. Quick notes:VTA - Vertical Tracking Angle - this is how level the arm sits parallel to the record.Azimuth - this is how perpendicular the arm/stylus sits on the record. Think Left and Right angle sitting in the groove.The SL-1210GR manual indicates how to adjust VTA but not Azimuth. The reason is it's supposed set correctly from the factory.I assumed everything was set up correctly until I bought this little gadget years later. It turned out the Azimuth was slightly off. I was able to apply subtle twisting pressure to my cart on the stylus with the level on top to set it correctly. I then adjusted the VTA which was just slightly off as well. Did it make a difference? Oh yes. The sound opened right up. So wish I bought this years ago. You don't have to muck around with protractors and all that. Just place it on top of the headshell and adjust until the bubble is dead center. I also notice alignment goes slightly out over time due to use, so this is a good tool to check that things are properly set now and then.I haven't tried any other brands, but I was worried the bubble might not flow properly and misguide me. It's smooth as silk on this one - no tapping necessary. Highly recommended.

Bought a new high end Cartridge for my Turntable getting away from DJ Cartridges so I wanted to make sure all the settings were correct. This level and other items I purchased made my setup perfect.

Great size, works very well. Not too heavy so it’s pretty easy to get proper balance.

Obviously one would expect this is accurate enough to put it on the head shell and ensure it is leveled. If you spin / rotate it over a leveled surface the bubble changes its place indicating it is not reading its level precisely making it more a display item rather than being a usefully method for leveling.
