Not even close to being ball shaped
The photographs on the Amazon product page show a round ball. I had one of these I got quite a few years ago, you know, back when they made things that actually worked and had a modicum of quality to them.These have at their center (imagine the equator) a 1/4 inch band that is completely flat. then from there towards the top of the "ball" is another 1/4 inch plus that is almost flat, but not nearly round enough to call it part of a ball. Then there's an obnoxious ridge hanging out. Then the tip is actually roundish.I'm returning these. My old one was nearly perfectly round and I was able to use it to create a countersink on a hole in steel. These wouldn't do that.
