Not Circular - Used to Hold Fruit
I really like the color and finish of this bowl & it looks great with our cabinets. There's a small crack on the bottom but I don't see it splitting the bowl apart. It's fine for a fruit holder. I was really hoping this would have arrived in more of a bowl / circular shape, that's the only reason keeping this from a 5 star review.UPDATE: SO SAD! Just over a month later it CRACKED! In my original review I noted the small crack but didn't think it would affect the bowl.I strongly suggest returning this item if it appears cracking at all. As of now I'm taking my 4/5 review down to 1 star. I added 2 new photos of the crack. I will try to return and see what happens.UPDATE 6.22.17: After leaving this review and submitting feedback to the seller, they contacted me and sent me a replacement wood bowl. The one that was sent was beautiful, round, and perfect. I wanted to wait a few months to update my review in case the replacement cracked also. So far so good! I updated my original review from 1 star to 4 stars. Only thing holding this review from a 5 star was the inconvenience of contacting them & original disappointment.

Shaped like an apple, not free-form
I specifically ordered this product because I wanted the free-form, natural shape and what I received instead was a bowl that had been carved into the shape of an apple, stem and all. Definitely not what I wanted. It was a beautiful apple shaped bowl. Just is not what I wanted. The size is also off from what I understood from the website - this bowl measures 13" x 11" which is too big for the placement I had intended.

Unique and well made!
Would definitely purchase more as gifts. Bought one for my daughter who uses it as her popcorn bowl. Holds a full bag of microwave popcorn. So cute and very unique!
