dI thought it would be a joke but its bright just in a non usable way for the way I needed it to be. You can adjust the beam but when you narrow it the light becomes a rectangle, not round, so if you are using if for acquisition ID for home protection you better hope the intruder is shaped like Sponge Bob Square Pants. On full tank at the most bright you get is about 15 minutes, then recharge takes about two hours,The battery charger that plugs into the wall gets VERY HOT as in gloves to the touch. I purchased for the ability to recharge but the light is like overhead florescent....strange. It will work for very limited home use...dont use for any type of defensive weapon it carries about as much weight as a french fire , at the very most its a distraction and most likely for you. LED bulb Mag Lites in their aluminum casing outside of military issue is one of the best you can get, and if you have to use it as a weapon it wont disappoint.

Not as bright as advertised; the lumens rated is likely due to the zoom feature. It is an okay light for the price, but it needs some minor refinements to earn a 4 or 5 star rating. The zoom should have a limiter to keep it from, at the far extent of zoom, going to the diode pattern (square). You have to hold it just short of the full length of the zoom to get a nice spot pattern. I have other high lumen lights, one rated only at 1500 lumens, and it is brighter without a zoom. For a small light, this one is pretty bright. The case is kind of cheap, but I would expect that for under $15. I like the option of using a rechargeable battery (supplied) or AAA batteries. Overall, not horrible, just an average 3 star item!

Works just as good as a coworkers's $30 flashlight. Has the same battery, same LED and came with a decent case unlike the $30 model from a different website that had only a cardboard box.Don't spend anymore than you have to to get the lumens you want, they all come out of the same factory in China with different branding.

I recently purchased a flashlight from a top seller which is similar to this one and I paid more then double. This flashlight is more powerful and has a clear and bright light, there is an option to focus it which is great if you want to look into something specific that's very dark.The case is convenient to keep all parts together. The fact that I can charge the battery saves me a lot of money because I am doing a lot of site inspections for my living. Overall great product, excellent price, highly recommend!

Does not get any better than this... flashlight, batery, charger, I mean, for the price is great. Fast delivery.. I will buy another one soon..Thank you guys..

Not worth the money

The flashlight is OK. There are no instructions for operating it to get the various modes, and no way to choose one desired mode without going through each step: bright, dim, strobe, SOS, etc. The case is very cheaply made, and will not last. One case did not have the attached cord. In my opinion the value for price is just OK, not impressive.
