Camo Delivered! Updated from 1 star to 5 stars.
Update: After multiple calls and being transferred to voicemail after voicemail, I finally reached a human. They were outstanding in correcting the issue, which was a bad batch of screws. They sent me a replacement, free of charge and I'm back in business. The clips themselves are easy to place and seem to hold very securely once the screw makes it through the metal framing.I bought these to install Fiberon decking over 14ga steel joists. Camo markets this product as a fast and effect fastening system. However, due to dull self-drilling screws, I’ve had to pre-drill over half of the holes. At a rate of 40 fasteners driven every two hours, it will take a week to finish my project. Customer service is horrible as well. If you are installing composite decking over steel, look elsewhere!!

Great product but they should offer the screws separately.
This is a great product. However, it is very disappointing that CAMO does not sell the self-drilling screws for their CAMO EDGEXMETAL line separately. They do sell the screws for their other lines separately, but not for metal. Most deck installations will require the clips with screws PLUS some screws without clips. I had to search around to find suitable screws for securing the ends of the deck boards. Before I could find suitable screws, I was forced to remove screws from clips (rendering the expensive clips unusable). These are the screws I ordered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008BQ2CJW/ I have not received them yet, but I assume they will work. I'll edit this review if they do not.

Great product, arrived damaged
Ordered 3 boxes, 1 came completely open with all the clips sitting inside the bag. Almost 25 of the clips were damaged because of this. Product itself is good, but shipping damage is annoying

Good fastener
I leave a 3 star for these because I’m having issues with the screw breaking when they are installed toward the end of a board. I’ve installed about 1500 so far in my deck. The ease of use and built in spacers on these work wonders. I think they need to upgrade the screw for installs into the metal frame.

The best of the best
This is the 3rd deck I build by myself. The first two were made in treated lumber in a previous house. I am tired of mantenance so this time I opted for steel and plastic/pvc: metal piers (helicals), metal joists (fortress), trex board, and camo hidden metal screws. The result is superb. Don’t waste your money buying the camo board lever (the red lever this costing 100+$), instead use straps and clamps. Cheaper, simpler, faster, just better. Get some spacers and You are good to go.The camo self drilling screws drill through metal joists quickly. Use your driller and adjust the torque appropriately: you do not want to strip the threads or enlarge the holes otherwise water will enter and cause rusting. The clip plastic support/spacer, once squeezed on the joist will seal the hole. The camo screws do rust a bit once they loose the black paint. Only superficial rust, nothing structural. Stainless-steel self drilling screws do not contain much chromium otherwise they would too soft strong for drilling. If the screws’ threads are visible in your construction, spray a bit of matte rustoleoum and you are good to go.Now my deck is ready for a herd of Helenphants jumping and dancing. Camo got it right here.1000 stars if possible. Screws are expensive ? Well your time is more expensive and mantenance is even more expensive. Do it right ! Do it once.
