Dog Nail File Paw Grooming, Gentle, Painless Pet Nail Filer for Claws and Paws, Ideal for Dogs, Cats, Birds

This is the best file I have used. I have tried others, but they have not been as good as this one. My baby is happier because it files the nails downs faster and smooth than our other files. Will be purchasing again and again.

It’s a very different texture. We could not get it to glide on nails at all. Ended up being useless. Should have returned it but I was too lazy.

Unfortunately, my Lab doesn't like this file. She let me do two nails then was pulling away from me. The file is well made and sturdy though. I like that it has a case for storage so it stays clean and doesn't scuff other things in the dog box. It is great that it's clear too so I can see what I am doing better. I'm going to try filing again because I like that better than trying to cut my lab's nails.

I always prefer to file rather than cut my dog's nails because her quick is impossible to see and inevitably, I cut her nails too short every time. It ends up being a miserable experience for both of us. This is a nice file that is easy to hold and works very well on my dog's nails. It takes off a nice amount of nail with each stroke. My dog doesn't object to it at all. I like that it comes in a case so that its filing ability is not being gradually worn away as it bumps up against other items in a drawer or something. I anticipate that it'll last for a while. My only complaint is that the case is really hard to open and I end up having to pry it open with a credit card or coin. Nice file and a good value ($6.99 at the time of this review).

This file works well on my dogs nails. It’s stronger than my human one I’d been using. I only wish the grit was more coarse to do a quicker job. But it’s fine for just a quick job on a sharp nail.

These files are too thick and don’t do anything for my dog’s nails.

This is an easy-to-use file that takes a tiny bit off the ends of a dog's toenails. The size is large and easy to hold. If your dog as dew-claws, it may be a bit challenging to get the large file underneath them, but it can be accomplished with patience.This file is not only helpful for smoothing the edges of trimmed dog toenails, it actually works great as a human foot file. It would be nice to have this file texture in a human pedicure size and shape too.
