This thing right here is awesome! Being a restaurant manager I am responsible for ordering our supplies and was trying to cut my budget down on silverware cost and In the first 3 weeks alone this thing paid for its self! Thinking about ordering another one!

As a restaurant owner, I'm so sick and tired of buying new silverware to replace utensils that just happen to disappear. Honestly, if I had to replace because of wear and tear, I wouldn't mind at all. But utensils keep on disappearing. I've tried multiple screening processes - busboys separating the utensils so the dishwashers wouldn't throw them away, ordering the dishwashers to be more careful, etc. Nothing worked. After buying this, I've noticed that many of my dishwashers will report that they're catching a fair amount of cutlery, particularly the smaller ones like coffee spoons. Obviously some more than others, but this is definitely a huge help both to my staff and to my bottom line, since I'm not throwing away silverware anymore. I estimate that this will pay for itself in a matter of months. The magnet is extremely strong, and will catch any sort of metal. My manager and I have tested it, and even if you toss a metal utensil into the hole and not directly on the magnet, many times the magnet will catch it. Generally, this will catch all the silverware, as long as you just drop the trash down the chute and don't force it down the hole to purposely avoid the magnet or something. Great buy!!

Works great. The magnets are very powerful. Wish it had some on the side. Might add some manually

Great item for the price. I did have to return it though because half of my silverware does not have stainless steel in in. But good construction and heavy duty.

We bought the San Jamar KA3244 in March of 2018, the magnets fell off in October 2018 and lost it in the trash cause no one immediately noticed that it was missing. they are supposed to be heavy duty and they are not. waist of 287 dollars.
