My husband already had a drinking horn, but I thought this would be more convenient to use than the regular curved horn. It is kind of ridiculous how much beer it holds, if you fill it all the way the handle doesn’t feel as sturdy. It looks nice sitting on our bar, and we get comments about it when we have visitors. It is easier to clean than his other drinking horn.

This is a very unique drinking stein. It's well made, and the coolness factor is off the chart. I haven't had the opportunity to break this out with Family or Friends yet, but I will the first chance I get. It holds a good amount of your favorite beverage, and the internal size makes it easy to clean by hand. I feel like im on the scene of Vikings the times that I break this out; all my Wife and Daughter do is laugh at me because I make a big scene when I use this. At this point, I can't think of anything negative to say; I really like this unique horn stein, and the quality makes this super giftable, but mines not going anywhere! Two thumbs up!

So I picked this up on a whim for a friend who plays D&D. I didn't expect much out of it, and was really thinking of it as more of a theme gift.However, it's actually quite functional and MUCH larger than I was expecting. It doesn't look or feel cheap. It's highly polished, well crafted, and suitable for most cold drinks. I guess you could use it for hot beverages, but I would not expect it to keep them hot any longer than an average coffee cup.To be 100% honest, this is not my thing. I have no idea what I would ever use this for other than a dust catcher and conversation piece. But my buddy loves it. Even I have to admit that it is easily worth the price given how finely crafted it is, how sturdy it is, and the overall size of this monster mug.

I was taken aback a bit by the size of this when it came. I saw the volume listing, but maybe I thought it was a misprint. It's huge, and if you want to fool the wife saying I'll only have one beer, this does the trick. The laminate and handle are nicely crafted. It's so big on the inside that if you drink something sticky, I can get my dish scrub brush inside with on problem. I didn't have any beer handy to test, so I dropped in two large scoops of vanilla ice cream and poured in two icy cold bottles of premium root beer. Like I said it was easy to clean out and scrum the sticky root beer with a soft brush. I can even get my hand with a dishrag all the way inside as well. I kind of got this for my mug collection of beer steins and such. It is so nice though; I think I'm going to put it into use as a drinking mug. Plus, I'm a fan of the Vikings football team, and although they are not doing so well this season, I watch a game when it airs locally. Recommended. Better hide it from the wife if you want that "only one" beer trick to work more than once!
