It takes careful checking of your measurements, cutting a hole in your floor and the electrical connection work. Once done, it looks and works great. Push the button and it pops up and locks in place. Push again to release and be able to push back down. The construction materials and overall quality are very good. I ordered two and ended up only using one and the return was simple, no problems.

It was well worth the big price. I'm sure our three will last many decades. My video doesn't show that it is brushed gold, see the photo. It's well designed. Press the button and the hinged door glides open. The two outlets and two USB ports are attached to the door. They rotate up as the door opens. To close, push the button and push it shut. The outlets are safely out of sight when unused, and cannot be accidentally closed while cords are plugged in.It's good to install it so that the outlets will face where you'll use them, like a seating area, not a pathway, so the cords needn't circle around to get to the lamps. We aligned ours so the plate and door lines go the same direction as the floor pattern.I am only posting this to help others, I get nothing else out of it.

The media could not be loaded.  We raised a drop down floor for safety purposes. Needed more outlets. Just what I was looking for. A little pricey , we installed 5 of them.

After one of the previous orders was incomplete... missing parts this actually showed up and everything is intact

Easy to install, instructions were clear, complete upgrade to what i had on my floor. Had this nasty old metal commercial looking cover that the family kept stepping on. Glad in finally swapped it out. Quick Tip, make sure the hole opening is correct, if you try to squeeze it into a tight opening, it will compromise the soft open/close feature

This outlet was yet another already used product. The "Hardware" was obviously used and bent and had screws missing. I had cut the hole in the floor using their so-called template A. Templet B was missing as well. After making my own brackets and wiring everything up there was no power to the outlet. My tester revealed switched leads, so I had to dismantle the unit to correct that. Push the button to "Pop Up" the outlet and it takes about 30 seconds to get into position. This company should be more responsible for offering cheap products.

Installed the pop up floor outlet, had a minor issue with it but the supplier replaced it very quickly …the next day! I am very pleased with it.
