Good Seasons Italian Dressing & Recipe Seasoning Mix, 4 ct Packets

A must have in your pantry - tastes great, easy to make. Generally a good value for money but I wish each packet were bigger and made a larger amount of dressing. I end up doing two or three at a time. I found the bottle a bit small so I just created my own with markings for 1, 2, 3, 4 packets. Bottle quality is very good, just small in my opinion.

Nothing like a salad where all the flavors are sort of "held together" by an appropriate "dressing". After all said and done it is the "dressing" that makes the salad... in one sense brings out a true "revelation" of all the wonderful combinations of veges. I truly believe that there needs to be at least a good amount of olive oil in the final dressing mix. Perhaps not as much as the typical recipe calls for although I certainly enjoy the full amount in a salad with an abundance of "leafy" material... perhaps with less leafy material a bit lower proportion of Olive oil may be more appropriate.My most favorite dressing is taking a traditional Ranch Dressing dry mix with Greek Yoghurt instead of the usual milk, buttermilk and/or mayonnaise. I have been doing this for at least 30+ years!!!

This is a staple in my kitchenYes, you need to mix the ingredients Vinegar - Water- Oil and the contents of the package, and shake it up.My guest and I have liked it... so its a regular now....
