Works great but laser is off
I purchased this because it had almost unanimous 5 star reviews, however only 27 of them. There was a similar model with hundreds of reviews and I should have purchased that one. Anyways it's very comfortable, accurate, and I've found many uses for it.My big beef is that the laser sight is way off. It veers to the left. Now for those who don't know, the laser is not used for the temp, it is simply to align the sensor with the object. Measuring at a short distance it's easy to compensate, but a longer distance it is not helpful at all. It's better to use the seam in the center as a sight and align that with the target.

Excellent. Works well for me. Reading of the digital infrared is always between 3 to 5 degrees off from myinstant read thermometer. Close enough to get the job done.

It works as designed. Don't have to rely on the oven temperature indicator, which may or may not be accurate.
