Works well for us on our laptops. We purchased a number of lenses over EBay

Disappointed with outdoor images
Could not get acceptable outdoor weather webcam pictures with my Raspberry Pi 2. Mostly way overexposed, poor color balance, not very sharp. Fair results for indoor images. Ran out of patience with tweaking the settings and getting only marginally better results, returned for refund.

DOES NOT SUPPORT NIGHT VISION!
Camera works fine with a linux mac or windows pc, simply plug and play. The size, resolution and quality is great for most CV projects that you may have. I bought this module to use on a night vision project and was disappointed to find out, after experimenting with it, that the camera did not operate well enough in the infrared region that would allow me to use it on any night vision project.
