Really loved my long socks

I ordered these last December, they were great. I waited until they went through the wash a few times (6), and they held up, still fit good and everything (I have huge feet & massive calves). SO, I went to order some more. SAME product, SAME name, different supplier, BBSource. DO NOT order them from BBSource. Not 2-day shipping, but I wasn't in a hurry since I had these socks (and were $6 cheaper). The socks from BBSource (which I can't find on Amazon anymore, but maybe they will show back up later) were NOT tube socks, they were heeled socks, and they are Poly & Spandex, NO cotton, in other words, BBSource has thin JUNK. I will re-order from Glenoaks, but NOT from BBSource. My order shows I ordered from BBSource, but when I click on it, it brings me to Glenoaks listing.DO NOT order from BBSource

These socks are like the classic tubes from my youth. On me, they come slightly over my knees; on my husband, they are high on the calf but not quite up to his knee (see photo). We both find them pretty comfortable, but they are definitely a little snug so if you have very muscled calves these might not be a good fit. My one star off is because the toe area is cut and sewn almost “square,” which leaves the edges sort of sticking out near the big and baby toes.

My husband says the socks are comfortable but not long enough for him. He has diabetes and his feet swell sometimes and he wishes that the socks have a little more give to them

I've bought multiple brands of tube socks over the past few years and these are the closest to the late 70s early 80s Tube Socks I remember wearing as a kid.No heel. Good quality. Thick enough to keep you warm but not smothering and itchy like Boot Socks.I'm 5'9", 143lbs and have thin legs with a bit of a muscular calf and these socks come right above my knee. They are comfortably snug on me, a little tight. I can't imagine a person with thicker legs squeezing into these. But they're perfect for me.

Love these....they seem to be closer tho the thickness of the ones we wore in the 70s and 80s than some others I have tried. I wear them pulled up or scrunched down...with shorts or jeans or to sleep in because it's cold in my house in winter months. I think the quality is perfectly fine for the money. No socks today will be the quality the ones from the late 70s were....but I am satisfied with these, they have a high cotton content which is most important to me ( I searched carefully for at least 80% cotton, which these are) and they are decently thick which was second in importance. With my standard use hopefully they'll last til summer. I would buy these again...

When my husband opened the package with these socks he was a little worried. They look like they are thigh high socks instead of knee high. LOL! I convinced my husband put one pair on just to see how they fit and they were perfect. We kept the socks and he has been very satisfied with them. He works outside all day everyday and the socks stay just above the knee like they are supposed to. They have been washed several times and have held up nicely. Will purchase again.

socks are very comfortable, but i have a size 14 foot so the socks were a very tight fit maybe tighter after washing them other than that they look nice feel great
