Best needles for Off-loom weaving., Hands Down
I have been using these for years and will never go back. The eye is basically the whole length of the needle. So easy to use and the thread and holds tight. They do bend out of shape, which is annoying, but necessary when weaving tiny beads. They last awhile and are worth every penny. Thankfully, they don't cost a lot.

The Only Needles I use
I just wish they were a little stronger so as to last a bit longer

Easy to thread and works well for bead weaving using 11/0 seed beads
The ease of threading the big eye needle, and being able to use either end of the needle as the point when creating peyote woven seed bead projects makes this much more versatile than the usual size 11 or 12 beading needles that others recommend. The needles will eventually split apart at the end, but so too will the eye break on other needles when put to the test. The end section is about twice as wide as the size 11 beading needle, but it is still very handy for working with size 11/0 seed beads. This is my needle of choice for beading, but I don’t recommend it for hand sewing cloth.

Useless!
Useless: that's on BeadSmith, the maker, not on the seller. I have been beading for decades and have never had a problem using the Bead Smith wide-eye needles, including for beading on suede/leather. In fact, that's why I ordered replacement needles. However, Bead Smith has obviously changed the needle design/manufacture: slightly lighter weight and not at all sharp on either end. I couldn't even get the needle superficially through the top side of a piece of leather. They wil only be good for stringing beads together on thread, not the reason I purchased them. Terribly frustrating, and a waste of money.

Nice sharp, affordable, quality big eye needles
I bought big eye needles many years ago, but they kept slicing my thread.I am very happy to say these are not only sharp, they do not damage my thread. The needles are so very well made. I am glad I decided to try them. The price is right, too.

Difficult to thread without sticking my finger.
Large hole needles work but not with all kinds of jewelry making. Be careful it’s sharp and to me it was difficult to thread.
