It says it's safely removes, can it cut fabric like a shaver?

Dear M.H. Thank you for your interest in Gleener! As mentioned by the others, the different edges are not blades so they do not cut like a razor. Having said that, it's a good idea to test your selected edge in a non-obvious place, such as on the inside seam of a garment. And although Gleener Fuzz Removers are highly effective for most garments and upholsteries, it is NOT recommended for use on flannel as it wears out the edge surfaces too quickly. Athletic gear, burnout fabrics and ultra-thin or shear t-shirts are also not recommended for Gleener use. Similarly, the Gleener Fuzz Remover should not be used on fabrics that contain embroidery, deliberate textures or very loose weaves. I hope this helps. Would this work on bulky knitted sweaters with spaces in the knitting?

I have a pair of black fleece pants and can't get all the cat hair out of the fleece. It's embedded in the fabric. Think this will work on that?

For cat hair and washing linty towels (by mistake of course) If you can wash and dry the item, then this is what you do. Buy the bounce dryer sheets for pet hair. After, the bulk of the pet hair is pulled out with the dryer sheets. (Using these drying sheets all the time, really helps a lot!) Use the super sticky lint roller tape. Then any pills in the fabric can be removed with the Gleener! I saved a sweater that a shredded foam pillow tore open in the washer. There was that lint all over the sweater, Inside and out! I used the Gleener and after two hours, my sweater looked like new! It really works if you are not looking for instant gratification. It was worth my time.

Worked wonderfully on my sofa

I used this product to clean my very lint and pill covered black sofa. It does take a while because you are using your arms to remove the lint but the results are worth it. This works way better than the battery operated lint shavers. The reverse side that cleans up the lint works well too. This was worth the cost as I feel like I have a new sofa. I don’t need to cover it or buy new slip covers.

A fantastic product! Battery and hassle free!

I purchased this product primarily for my large Broyhill Sectional. We have had this sofa for less than a year and the pilling was horrible! I debated on the battery operated one or this manual one, and I am glad I chose this one. The results are fantastic! My sofa looks brand new again, and there was no damage to my furniture (which I was worried about with the batter operated). I would recommend buying the replacement heads with the first purchase, I didn't and will need to eventually. Either way, the three different heads provide versatility and can be used on many fabrics both rugged and delicate. Great buy, and highly recommend!

Works really well!

Love this product must admit was worried it wouldn't work for my mattress. Now my mattress looks like new again so pleased with the outcome. Easy to use no need for batteries or charging overall great product. Cheaper than buying a new mattress!
