It's almost like a gel screen.My grandchildren are fascinated with theirs. Great for car travel and quiet time or teaching.

I work as a nanny for a 10mo, a 16mo, and a 3 yo and they all love this. I even have fun with it myself. I prefer to use my fingers to "draw" on it because I don't like the way it feels to use the pen on the plastic. I have to be careful when using it with the 10 mo because he tries to chew on the cord that attaches the pen to the toy. The colors are really beautiful when it's lit up. I don't care much for the music so I only turn it on sometimes. It's cool that the colors change. It's nice that it is light and portable.

It came in the original box with the just stuck on it which I didn’t like. When you draw on it the thing you draw doesn’t stay. It disappears immediately.

Be careful giving this to a curious three year old! He ended up puncturing the film and the goo came out. Had to throw it away.Other than that and no volume control it was a great little thing. My son enjoyed it while it lasted.

Great for kids to learn there artistic skills at an early age . All my kids seem to love them that I had to get all of them their own
