The seller advertises 3 different forms of location tracking, which sounds really good! Three different data points with which to help triangulate a location? Must be super precise! Except what actually happens is the app chooses ONE of those three (presumably whichever has the strongest signal) and just shows you that signal. Wi-Fi at least gets me in the neighborhood (literally, within a few city blocks), so I know my dog hasn't run off across the highway or anything, but it's useless for actually finding her. LBS is completely useless, often not even getting the *city* correct! I just got back from chasing my dog in the field for *an hour* unable to get any GPS data because the app insisted on showing me LBS and Wi-Fi instead. At one point the app told my my dog was IN CHINA! When the best you can tell me is which *hemisphere* my dog is in, this product literally becomes less useful than a wild guess.Eventually I did get a GPS signal and was able to track her down. The GPS on this really is quite good, and this product would be an easy five stars if the app allowed me to disable LBS and W-Fi data (or, even better, if it triangulated all three like it implies). As it is, though, it's only useful about 1/3 of the time the dog is out of line of sight, and I need something that's going to be useful 100% of the time.

Don't buyIt almost never works even with the included SIM card. It is made in China - there is no tech support.It works on 2G network which only T-Mobile still has but for how much longer?Seems very well made but just almost never works at least here in Cleveland Ohio.

Looked at the video and that made it easier to acquire the app. HOWEVER GPS tracker is off line when I tap to connect the device. HELP !!! Not connecting I return 2 pet tracker only refund one. hard to find a chip for or figure out how to get a package to run it

I was really excited about getting this for my pup so that we could keep track of her in real time. HOWEVER, there is NO MENTION in the description about the fact that you have to have a 2g SIM card to operate it. Verizon is my carrier, and they can't support it. I went to AT&T and they can't support it. Only T-Mobile can support it, and they don't offer service in my area. I'm ticked because now I'm back to square 1 and still need sometime to track her. None of the reviews for the other products have convinced me that they are the quality that this one would be IF I COULD USE IT. My husband did not write this review. I, Sharon Pleasants wrote it.

Very difficult to get it set up, but it works well after it is working.

The size and quality look fine. What I didn't realize is that you need to buy an additional sim card for the device to work. I've double checked the copy on Amazon and see no mention of that. Also the instructions are minimal. It just assumes that you have a sim card to insert.
